Nuggets 122, Kings 97: JaVale McGee scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting off the bench to lead six players in double figures as visiting Denver handed Sacramento its fourth straight defeat.

Danilo Gallinari added 18 points, Jordan Hamilton scored 15 and Andre Iguodala collected 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Nuggets, who have won back-to-back games for the first time since a four-game streak from Nov. 19-25.

DeMarcus Cousins recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds and Jason Thompson added 16 and 10 for the Kings, who shot just 34.1 percent.

Denver used a 14-0 run in the first quarter to take a 22-8 lead and never looked back. Gallinari scored 10 points in the opening frame and the Nuggets led by as much as 19 in the second before settling for a 64-46 edge at the break.

McGee’s dunk with 1:00 left in the third quarter capped a 7-0 spurt that pushed the lead over 30 points.
