KINGS 120, CELTICS 95: Marcus Thornton scored a season-high 36 points, and host Sacramento rode a 41-point third-quarter blitz to snap a three-game losing streak.

Jason Thompson had his second straight double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds as the Kings halted an eight-game skid against Boston.

DeMarcus Cousins added 20 points and seven boards as Sacramento shot 53.5 percent (46 of 86) and dominated the backboards 45-28 to end a four-game home losing streak to the Celtics.

Ray Allen scored 26 points to pace Boston, which had its two-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 8-3 since the All-Star break.

Thornton scored 14 as part of the Kings' season-high 41 points in the third to turn a one-point halftime edge into a 93-74 laugher.

Isaiah Thomas (13 points, 10 assists) scored seven as Sacramento opened the second half by scoring the first 13 points.

After Boston pulled within nine, Thornton buried back-to-back 3-pointers in an 8-0 spurt to make it 85-68 with just under three minutes left in the quarter.
