Mike Conley hit the go-ahead basket and the Memphis Grizzlies rebounded from a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to register a 91-90 victory over the host Golden State Warriors on Monday.
Rudy Gay scored 23 points and Conley scored 20, including the pivotal fast-break layup with 1:23 to play as Memphis extended its winning streak to seven games.
Monta Ellis scored 20 points and Stephen Curry added 18 for Golden State, which committed nine of its 24 turnovers in the fourth quarter while losing its third straight game.
The Warriors led by 20 points in the third quarter and had a 78-61 advantage after Brandon Rush hit a 3-pointer with 7:26 remaining.
The Grizzlies countered with 11 straight points capped by a three-point play by O.J. Mayo with 4:52 remaining. Memphis went ahead on Conley’s hoop and Gay scored the ensuing three points to complete a 28-7 run following Rush’s 3-pointer.
Golden State is just 5-11 and has lost six games it has led in the fourth quarter.
Marc Gasol had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Tony Allen had 12 points, eight rebounds and five steals for the Grizzlies.
David Lee added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Golden State, which led by as many as 17 points in the first half en route to a 44-35 halftime advantage.
