Recap
Corey Brewer scored 22 points in a reserve role while Al Harrington added 16 off the bench as the Denver Nuggets held on for a 105-95 victory over Milwaukee on Tuesday, handing the Bucks their first home loss of the season.
Brewer and Harrington combined to hit seven of the Nuggets' 12 3-pointers. Nene and Danilo Gallinari led the starters with 14 points apiece.
Brandon Jennings led all scorers with 30 points for the Bucks (4-9), who fell to 4-1 in their own building.
Denver (9-5) used its high-octane offense to take a 63-44 lead into the break, and kept the Bucks at bay for the entire third quarter. Milwaukee closed to within 13 at one point, but Harrington answered with a 3-pointer and Brewer followed with back-to-back jumpers to restore the sizable advantage.
Harrington hit another 3 late in the period, giving Denver an 85-67 edge entering the fourth.
Consecutive 3-pointers from Jennings midway through the final quarter closed the gap to 13, and he followed with three straight layups to make it a 100-91 game. Milwaukee would get no closer, as Gallinari scored five straight Denver points in the final two minutes to ice things.
