Tony Parker led the way with 24 points and seven assists and Tim Duncan added 19 points and 14 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs surged past the Utah Jazz 94-82 on Friday.
Manu Ginobili chipped in 15 points and Richard Jefferson finished with 11 for the Spurs, who have won nine straight games.
San Antonio came out on fire in the first quarter, opening up an 8-0 lead and extending it to 21-6 with 2:02 left in the opeing frame. Ginobili scored seven points in the quarter and DeJuan Blair added six.
The Jazz managed to cut it to 24-14 with a spurt at the end of the quarter and drew within 44-40 at the half with a strong second quarter.
Utah finally drew even at 68-68 when Paul Millsap converted a three-point play with seven seconds left in the third quarter, but Ginobili hit a pair of free throws to send the Spurs into the final 12 minutes up 70-68.
A 15-8 run to begin the fourth pushed the lead to 85-76 with 5:41 left, and San Antonio cruised from there.
Deron Williams scored 23 points and Millsap finished with 12 for Utah.
