Dwight Howard scored 22 points to lead seven players in double figures as the Orlando Magic hit on all cylinders Saturday night in a 118-104 rout of the host Houston Rockets.
Hedo Turkoglu scored 21 points and Brandon Bass and Jason Richardson added 18 each for the Magic, who have won four in a row after losing three of four.
Orlando shot 52.9 percent, including 13 of 32 from the arc, and committed just 10 turnovers. The Magic held the Rockets to 38.9 percent shooting.
The Magic led 36-24 after the first quarter, stretched the lead to 20 in the second and got consecutive 3-pointers from J.J. Redick and Jameer Nelson to build a 95-72 lead with 2:13 to play in the third. That officially made the fourth quarter garbage time.
Chase Budinger scored 19 points off the bench and Kevin Martin added 18 on 5-of-18 shooting for the Rockets, who have lost two straight after winning three in a row.
