Gerald Wallace scored 25 points and had 14 rebounds and the Charlotte Bobcats used a 10-0 run late in the fourth quarter to take a 93-85 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
All three of the Bobcats' wins have come on the road, where they are undefeated.
Andray Blatche led Washington with 22 points while rookie John Wall recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists.
Boris Diaw scored 19 points while D.J. Augustin added 17 for Charlotte.
The game featured extended run by both teams. Washington rallied from a 10-point deficit to take a 78-76 lead on two free throws by JaVale McGee midway in the fourth quarter.
Stephen Jackson, who scored 13 points, tied the game for the Bobcats on a layup with 6:09 to play.
Diaw's 3-pointer with 5:00 left put the Bobcats ahead, a lead they would keep for good. Wallace added a basket and Augustin hit another 3-pointer giving Charlotte an 86-78 lead with 3:31 to play, forcing the Wizards to call timeout.
The Wizards built a nine-point lead in the second quarter, but the Bobcats rallied and trailed 43-42 at halftime.
Wallace scored eight straight points, including a four-point play, in the third period and Charlotte led by 10 midway through the quarter. Wallace scored 12 points in the period.
