Recap

John Salmons scored a game-high 26 points and Brandon Jennings and Drew Gooden had double-doubles, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 79-72 home win against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.

Jennings had 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, and Gooden added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Milwaukee. Salmons scored his 26 on 9-of-17 shooting, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

The Bucks missed 12 straight shots in the fourth quarter to allow the Warriors to pull within 75-72 with 1:31 left, but Salmons hit a 7-foot jumper to break the drought and Milwaukee (5-5) held on for its third straight win.

One game after getting 35 points from their reserves in a win at Atlanta, the Bucks got just four points from the bench Saturday.

Monta Ellis scored 24 to lead the Warriors, but he was the only starter in double figures for Golden State, which shot 34 percent from the field. Ellis also had eight assists and five rebounds.

Reggie Williams had 11 points off the bench for the Warriors.

Golden State (6-4) finishes its five-game road trip against Eastern Conference opponents with a 2-3 record.
