Recap
Derrick Rose had 24 points, including a clutch three-point play late in the game, and Carlos Boozer added 20 points in his return from a sprained ankle in the Chicago Bulls’ 92-79 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.
A basket by Antawn Jamison brought the Cavs within 75-72 with 4:37 left, but Rose scored the Bulls’ first basket of the quarter and was fouled. He completed the three-point play to give his squad some breathing room after they missed their first seven shots of the fourth.
Kyle Korver followed a Cavs miss with a 3-pointer and the Bulls had sealed their fifth win in six games.
Jamison had 31 points and 11 rebounds and J.J. Hickson had 13 points and a career-high 20 rebounds for the Cavs, who lost their 16th straight and 26th in 27 games.
The Bulls struggled offensively, shooting just 42 percent from the floor. But it was good enough to beat the hapless Cavs, who shot just 32 percent.
