Brewers 5, Cubs 2:
Marco Estrada won for the first time in nearly a year by pitching six scoreless innings as host Milwaukee spoiled Chris Rusin's major-league debut.

Estrada (1-5) broke through in his 16th start and 22nd appearance for his first victory since Aug. 23, 2011, when he won at Pittsburgh 11-4. Estrada allowed two hits, struck out nine and walked one Tuesday.

Jonathan Lucroy delivered a two-run double for the Brewers, who improved to 10-2 in their last 12 home games despite recording only three hits.

The Cubs fell to 3-14 at Miller Park since the start of 2011 and 4-17 in their last 21 games overall.

Rusin (0-1) retired the first nine batters he faced before losing his command. The left-hander pitched five innings and yielded one run, one hit, walked two, hit two batters and struck out four.

Rusin hit Norichika Aoki with a pitch to begin the fourth and, one out later, walked Ryan Braun and hit Aramis Ramirez. Corey Hart followed with a hard grounder off Rusin's left foot for a run-scoring infield hit before Lucroy hit into a double play.

Milwaukee shortstop Jean Segura robbed Rusin of his first major-league hit when he snared his liner up the middle with a full-extension dive to end the fifth.

The Brewers took a 4-0 lead in the sixth as Rickie Weeks scored on Alberto Cabrera's wild pitch and Lucroy stroked the next offering into the left-field corner to plate Ramirez and Hart.

Chris Gomez's RBI single in the eighth drove in Ramirez, who led off with a walk.

The Cubs scored twice in the ninth on Alfonso Soriano's RBI single and Starlin Castro's run-scoring groundout.

John Axford, the third Brewers pitcher used in the ninth, got the final out for his 19th save in 27 chances.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rusin was the Cubs' 11th starter this season, their most since tying a franchise record by using 15 in 2006. ... Rusin was 1-1 with a 1.85 ERA in his last four starts at Triple-A Iowa. ... Lucroy has six RBIs in the series after hitting two homers in Monday's 9-5 victory. ... The Brewers have recorded four of their major league-leading 23 blown saves in Estrada's starts this season. ... Aoki also was hit by Manny Corpas in the seventh inning. ... Cubs rookie 3B Josh Vitters, who hit his first major-league homer Monday, went 1-for-4 on Tuesday and is 5-for-41 since he was called up on Aug. 5.
