Indians 7, Rays 3:
Ubaldo Jimenez pitched six solid innings and Shelley Duncan homered as Cleveland coasted past visiting Tampa Bay.

The Indians went ahead for good with three runs in the second inning against Matt Moore (5-6). Lou Marson and Aaron Cunningham sandwiched RBI doubles around an RBI groundout by Jack Hannahan, and Carlos Santana added another run-scoring double in the third that made it 5-0.

Duncan added a two-run shot in the eighth inning to cap the scoring for Cleveland.

Jimenez (8-7) got the win, striking out eight while scattering five hits and a walk. Tony Sipp, Vinnie Pestano and Esmil Rogers combined to hold the Rays to one run and one hit over the final three innings.

Luke Scott hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning for Tampa, one day after snapping a 0-for-41 drought. B.J. Upton added a solo shot in the ninth.

Moore gave up five runs on five hits in 4 2/3 innings, walking five and striking out three.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Indians remained three games back of first-place Chicago in the American League Central. ... All five hits surrendered by Moore were doubles. ... The Indians sent left-hander Nick Hagadone to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday. Left-hander Scott Barnes is expected to be called up for Sunday‚Äôs series finale. ...
