Recap
Vladimir Guerrero extended his hitting streak to 11 games by plating Robert Andino with a single in the 12th inning as the Baltimore Orioles completed a three-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals with a 6-5 home win Thursday afternoon.
Nolan Reimold belted a pair of homers - including a three-run shot to highlight a four-run third inning - and Mark Reynolds added an RBI single for Baltimore, which posted its fifth consecutive victory.
After Andino led off the 12th with a double, Guerrero ended the contest three batters later with a single to shallow center off Louis Coleman (0-2).
The hit made a winner of Jeremy Accardo (3-1), who worked two flawless innings in relief.
Chris Getz had three hits - including an RBI single - and scored twice for Kansas City, which suffered its eighth loss in 10 games.
Melky Cabrera continued his stellar play by poking a two-run single in the second inning. He now has nine hits in his last six games while increasing his RBI total to a team-leading 31 on the season.
