Cuddyer hit a grand slam to snap a 4-4 tie in the fifth and added a solo homer in the ninth as Minnesota snapped a three-game losing streak.
Young hit a two-run homer in the second and a solo shot in the fourth off Joel Pineiro (5-6) as the Angels lost for only the fifth time in 14 games.
