Recap

Henry Blanco knocked in the go-ahead run with a double in the sixth inning, and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the visiting New York Mets 5-3 on Sunday for their sixth straight victory.

Diamondbacks starter Jason Marquis gave up one run in 3 1/3 innings before leaving the game with a fractured right leg suffered on a pitch to Josh Thole. Acquired at the trade deadline, Marquis is likely out for season.

Zach Duke (3-4) earned the win in relief of Marquis, and David Hernandez worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 11th save.

Justin Upton tied the game at three with his 25th home run in the fifth inning off Chris Capuano (9-11), who allowed four runs over six innings.

Arizona rookie Paul Goldschmidt had three hits, including two doubles. Blanco added an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth when Ryota Igarashi walked him with the bases loaded.

Lucas Duda homered and drove in two runs for the Mets, who have lost five straight games and 11 of their last 14. New York dropped four games below .500 for the first time since June 4.
