Recap: Lions 26, Roughriders 13

Lions 26, Roughriders 13: Andrew Harris ran for 138 yards and a touchdown as visiting BC registered its first victory of the season.

Kevin Glenn completed 16-of-27 passes for 170 yards and a TD for the Lions (1-2), who squandered an early double-digit lead before coming back. Harris also made five catches for 65 yards and Courtney Taylor hauled in three passes for 34 yards and a score.

Darian Durant was 15-of-34 for 191 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Roughriders (1-2), who have dropped two straight after winning their season opener. Hugh Charles gained 86 yards on 13 carries while Taj Smith had seven receptions for 82 yards and a TD.

The Lions built an 11-0 lead after one quarter on a single, a 15-yard field goal by Paul McCallum and Harris' 58-yard TD run. Saskatchewan regrouped and moved ahead in the second on a pair of field goals by Chris Milo and Durant's 5-yard scoring pass to Smith, but McCallum converted a 41-yard attempt as the half expired to put BC in front 14-13.

BC increased its lead to three with a safety in the third quarter and McCallum booted a 30-yard field goal with 11:14 remaining in the fourth to double the advantage. The Lions put away the game with 5:46 to go, as Glenn hit Taylor for a 20-yard touchdown.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Glenn avoided throwing an interception after getting picked off six times over his first two games. ... The Lions fell three points shy of matching their total of their first two contests. ... Saskatchewan DE John Chick recorded his team-leading fourth sack of the season, leaving Ricky Foley one behind.
