now that the lines are out I like LA -7, Minn -12 and over 149.5
NY stumps me and cost me a lot ending the season so I'm thinking of leaving that game alone, Ashja Jones back is huge for Con though. LA is pumped and ballin I don't see SA keeping this opener close. Sea still is untested on the road with everyone back and I think Minn opens with firepower, I just can't get over Sea turnovers when Bird's not in the game.
LA is the team on a mission and after I read what you guys think will probably be my biggest play.

You won't take conn in that game? I notice conn has been playing good basketball after their ugly win against seattle. Now they blow up that handicap. I thought they give something around 7.5

if you check out the boxscores of the wnba playoffs last year bro, you would lean sass... They were with a weaker line up than this year yet they pushed minn to a game 3 and only lost game 1 by 2pts... Just something to think about... Obviously, k. Tolliver ran out of bullets... Cant keep up the peformance she was having like around 14 games before the playoffs... But yeah, las is the logical choice... But bullshit happens like the packers@sea game a while ago... That hurt so bad...

of note: last season in semis teams totalled 146 (NY/Ind), 141 (Phx/Sea), 173 (Atl/Con) and 131 (SA/Min) in the first games. The only game that went over was Atl/Con b/c of 47-54 Free Throws awarded by the FT heavy ref crew of Price, Stevens and Forsberg (keep an eye on this crew as the games usually go over and they give a lot of FT to the road teams).
Based on that info I'm leaning under 154.5 NY/Con.
2nd games tend to heat up 159 (Ind/Ny), 175 (Sea/Phx), 133 (Con/Atl) and 159 (Minn/SA)
If anyone finds ref assignments prior to tip pls let me know. GL

very good points ceejay thanks that's what the discussion is for, still leaning heavily on the under 154.5 but no play yet, I just think in a series that when it did go over at 164, 169, and 159 in last 2 years everything had to line up perfectly meaning 64 FGM 15 made 3pt'ers and 22 made FT, that's an awful lot of success in the big 3 categories, if they struggle even slightly at either of those 3 then it goes under this number
