I don't know about knowing the spread but they certainly don't care much for the game. They aren't motivated yet are up. They have been turning it over with some lazy passes.

yeah but Grizzlies aint point shaving everytime, saw them win the last 2 convincingly by DD and not even a slight clue of point shaving, yet this game out of nowhere they dont seem interested to play the last 5 mins.

let me clarify one more thing in regards to point shaving. conventional wisdom might suggest this is done to favor one side of the money or the other, but its not. instead it is designed to keep the gambler tuned into the very end and cause the gambler to experience the yo yo syndrome which inevitably leads to tilting.
in this way, the league wins, the casino wins, the gambler gets grinded down like the teeth of a rat. the only problem is the rat replenishes its teeth, the gambler........ well, its a bit harder to recoup the losses.
in any event, i wont stop betting on these dog chit games and neither will you. by the way, back in the day, when true greats like larry bird, and magic and kareem and dr J. were playing, it was a much better brand of basketball, yet the nba finals were in some markets shown on tape delay after the 11 o clock news. you want to know why? its because they had no internet and sports betting wasnt nearly as abundant.
theres gamblers that will watch 14 straight hours of college basketball on a saturday. do u actually think that this horse manure would be watched that intently if it wasnt for the gambling.
ahh the good ol yo yo syndrome, keeps the gambler coming for more and more and more.

phoenix coach calls timeout with 26 seconds left trailing by 8. knowing the spread is 8.5 to 9, he tells beasley, go for a driving layup and whether u miss or make, DO NOT FOUL, do u hear me, DO NOT FOUL!!!!!! and so phoenix after the made layup is down 6 with 22 seconds left and lets the fakers run out the clock.
i should have known after the memphis and portland debacles this would happen, but i know many others got hosed, and for those that were on the right sides of these games, the house aint worried, theyll just let the lucky gambler dig his own grave at a future date
