Would assume that most would fear a let down here after a 38 point drubbing of Troy, but I don't see it. An FAU tam with losses to South Florida (13) and Kansas (23) coming into Mississippi State with DD wins over West Virginia (13) and Arizona (10) stands little chance of pulling off the cover IMO. The trio of Bost, Moultrie, and Hood will simply be way too much for FAU to handle and I can easily see a 20 point or better beat down tonight.

Have you heard of Vanguard? Me neither! Unless you are talking about the financial giant Vanguard which is Headquartered near my home! UC Irvine escapes with a 2 point win over NAIA giant Vanguard and now faces a Wyoming team that absolutely has feasted on lesser competition this year. 30+ point wins over inferior Westen State (39), MD Eastern Shore (30), and Utah Valley (33) do not bode well for UC Irvine tonight. Throw in a quality 17 point win over Bradley and you start to see that Wyoming is for real. This is a UC Irvine team that lost by 14 to Alaska-Anchorage, and 21 to CAL. Tell me, if Alaska-Anchorage can thump them by 14 can't Wyoming? I believe so, and I actually think it is an 18-21 point beat down tonight.

Coming off an impressive win over a quality UNLV team, the Badgers now take on in state rival milwaukee. While they both come in at 8-2 on the year the similarities stop there. One thing sticks out to me in this game tonight, or actually two things. One, Jordan Taylor is coming off an 0-10 shooting performance and only 4 points against UNLV. I guarantee that don't happen tonight! Also, the leading scorer for Milwaukee (Williams 12.8 ppg) is going to be hounded by Taylor tonight who is one of the best defensive guards in the country. Two, when Wisconsin wins, they do so by double digits. Every win this year has been by double digits and despite the in state rivalry stuff I see no reason why tonight is any different.

I like the Gophers and all, but I have to believe that this line is just a little inflated due to the smack down Minnesota put on St. Peters last time out. I have looked and looked and then looked again, but I just don't see the Gophers covering this line. No doubt whatsoever as far as the outcome of the game, but I see a CMU cover here and I see it because of Ziegler. If he can get a little support from McBroom and Jackson tonight I see the boys from CMU covering. Just feel 16 is too many and see it more as an 8-10 point game.

Don't let that Alaska Anchroage loss fool you as that came on the third game in three day tourney. The Sea Wolves are consistently one of the best D-II schools in the country and actually took 10-0 Murray State to the wire.

Vanguard made 14 3's vs UC Irvine holmes. And they still beat vanguard. That's pretty good in my boat. Wyoming better score 100 because Irvine is good for 80.
