If I'm going to take Li Na should I wait closer till the match or do you think it will go higher? I've seen it go down a bit and its steady at -132 for Li for the day so far. I'm going to take her to win regardless but trying to figure if it will be better to wait till later or just do it now.

Thanks for responding sparty. I see this as a total mismatch. You have an attacker and you have a retriever in the other end. As long as Li keeps her errors down she will win this match. Woz has no weapons to defeat Li and it's shown in the past 2 matches they played. If Li gets her first serve in and goes for the winners it's going to be straight sets for Li.
Also after watching the entire match with Wozzy and Frannie the only reason why Wozzy won was because of all those unforce errors for Frannie. You can tell she did not want to grind out those long rallies that Woz likes to go into and by trying to end the point fast numerous errors came out of the Frannie. Hitting the ball out wide or right into the net because of fatigue.
With that said I'm locked up with Li for 10 units... Wish me luck guys...

These types of matches come down to how the players handle pressure. Na Li certainly has the better weapons here... and she has the experience of playing Serena tough in the same spot last year.
But you do have to keep in mind that playing a defensive style like Woz has its advantages. Aggressive players when feeling pressure can go off the boil in a hurry. And players like Woz who hit with more margain just feed the ball back and let their opponents hang themselves. If Na Li makes errors she could be in serious trouble.
First set is so important in these big matches...normally the player that gets it settles down and plays more relaxed in the 2nd. And the player that loses it...struggles to stay mentally invested.
Is really a tough match to cap at the current odds... when Na Li was the dog it was a no brainer...but -140 range is a different animal

Agree it is a match known as an owner and a dog. The dog is there to fetch the ball and the owner is there to smack it around. If there's errors on Li's side then Woz will win by simply putting the ball back on the court.

There is really nothing I can find that suggests Na Li will fold under pressure. She's as solid as they come IMO. Kind of a bulldog. You have to beat her. She's won so many close tough matches. You actually have to beat her. If you mess up and give her an opening, she will put her knee on your throat. Same goes for Woz.
I think the difference here is Na Li is playing better ATM, Li beat her last year here and has the experience and age. You have to remember Woz is only 20 years old. The only way I see Li losing is if Woz comes in with a perfect gameplan and Li sprays the court.
If Shiavone wasn't an unforced error machine and ran out of gas, Woz wouldn't be playing in this match IMO. Na Li has been cruising. I feel like if Na Li came into last year's semi the way she's playing now, she would of been Serena. She's playing much better this time around and Woz, while #1 is still only 20 years old and is no Serena.
Anything can happen though, that;s why it's gambling

Mad is right, Woz is so annoying to beat. Whatever the case, Na will have to bring her A game, and winners all night. Woz makes you beat her with that annoying pushing. Hate her game, but you know what, it works.

Wozniacki for me understandLi Na is playing well but at this point in the tournament everybody is playing well so makes no difference to me. Tonight I see Li Na being force yes forced into making a ton of unforced errors and then poeple saying again that Woz was lucky and Li Na self destructed. Woz gets no respect for her style of play and the fact that she is able to force errors from her opponent and get several break points. I see Woz getting at least 7 break points in the 1st set and if she is able to convert at least 2 of them she will win 1st set

We havent seen the Li Na that talks to her self confused about what is going on and hitting wild unforced errors and looking up to her husband in total bewilderment yet but I think we see that women tonight as Woz wins good luck to all whoever you have

Hard to make a bet assuming something is going to happen that hasn't happened for her in a while. Like when a team strings together 10 wins and then you assume today is where it ends. You can lose alot of money betting like that.
