i havent looked at this yet. so, will have better in-depth analysis closer to gametime.
a few things to consider:
1) game is being played in Toronto (outdoors), and to make matters worse, in the evening. High temps tmrw to be 31. (and they are expecting snow showers on sunday). once that sun sets around 5pm, the temps gonna drop like a brick.
nice going MLS.... and you wonder WHY people consider your league 2nd rate. geez, idiots.
2) last years CUP was an abnormality, in regards to scoring. these games are typically slow-starting. going back to 2010, only twice was there a goal scored in first half, i think like 4 -5 years it was 0-0. and every year theres been at least 2 goals scored in 2nd half.
leaning towards toronto, as far as the over/under? i think the cold just might hinder things a little but it does seem to be over-ish. will have a writeup tmrw.

While history favors the hosting team but I like Sounders to win it.
Toronto beat a slumping Union and 2 defensive bad teams in NYC and
Montreal Impact. Sounders has a stronger defence than the 3 teams I said
and should provide a stiffer test for Toronto. Since Schmid departure
and Lodeiro arrival, everything has gone right for them. From no
playoffs hopes to now the finals, this pretty much set them for a win it all.

just a small correction:
a Majority of the MLS Cups since 1996 have been played on neutral fields. Last year columbus lost at home. the 2 years prior to that LA & KC both won on their home grounds, but it must be noted LA needed extra time and KC won in a penalty shootout. LA won in '11 & 12 on home grounds. and every year prior to that it was on a neutral field.
regarding your thoughts, Seattle hasnt faced an offense like Toronto. when they faced Dallas, it was a team w/out their best player and leading goal scorer, Colorado s*cks on offense. seattle just hasnt won as convincing. we'll see.
@Xlaggie, I remember the announcers stating that it was unseasonably warm (for toronto standards) at the game. temps in high 40's at kickoff. tomorrow is gonna be below freezing at kickoff. this is whats keeping me from pulling the trigger on the over. lot of these players havent played in freezing temps in years. if you have a soccer background, one of the hardest dang things to do is come out of that toasty little locker room at halftime after the adrenaline has died down and start running around again. it really IS difficult.
stupid MLS bigwigs for putting a night game in toronto in december. the least they coulda done is move it up to the afternoon while sun is still out. thank god it isnt scheduled to snow.
