I let the first week ride to see how some teams performed and watched all the games. I am a major Western Sydney Wanderers supporter but will not be bias with my picks when it comes to their games. I use Centrebet for the majority of my plays.
Here is what I am playing for this week so far.
Adelaide United vs Melbourne Victory:
Adelaide Win at $2.27
Victory lost Rojas in the off-season and he was the main offensive player for them last season. Adelaide played well last week against Perth at home and I think they will win this won at least 1-0 or 2-0.
W.S Wanderers vs Wellington Phoenix:
Over 2.5 goals at $1.85.
Wellington have a very young defence this year and they leaked 2 goals at home last week against Brisbane. The Wanderers have recruited well this year and the mid-field is very impressive. First home game for the season for WSW and I expect them to score at least 3 goals in this game.
Melbourne Heart vs Central Coast Mariners:
Under 2.5 at $1.75
In the past 5 meetings with these 2 teams in Melbourne, the under is 5-0. Sticking with that trend. Mariners could maybe let 1 in and so might Melbourne but I can't see this game being 2-1 at all. If Mariners score first, they will defend their lives out and try and win 1-0.
Brisbane Roar vs Sydney FC
Brisbane Win at $1.70
Sydney do not play well in Brisbane. They never have. They have not won in Brisbane since 2007 and I don't see that changing with this game. Sydney beat Newcastle last week but Newcastle were very poor. The Roar won on the road in Wellington and I think they are a much better team at home..
Newcastle Jets vs Perth Glory
Draw at $3.50
Both teams coming from a loss last week. What will change? I don't think much. Perth struggle when playing away and this is a difficult road game. In saying that though, the Jets are without Heskey and I can't see them winning this game. It will be either 0-0 or 1-1. Cant see any team winning this one.

this a-league is some tricky s hit. The opposite always happen.
Yeah its very tricky. Smart man for going with the PK because thats the only painful thing about soccer, the draws. They can really get you angry some days..

just as i was getting to like you aussie you have to mention your part of the red and black bloc. THIS CITY IS SKY BLUE. GL on your plays. I like the under and the over if you can find a double with mariners and wsw with them would add some nice value, cant see them losing. I wont say the sky blues will win, but they are good enough for a draw and at $1.70 i would be much more comfortable with over 2.5 both these teams play open free flowing football and have the forwards to put there shots away.

LOL Micalf. I didn't know you were an Aussie buddy??? I'm from out Western Sydney way so loved the fact we finally got a team out this way. You going to the derby next weekend? I will be there for sure.
Yeah that would be a nice parlay with the over and under for WSW and Mariners.

Thanks for the plays. Can't believe Adelaide let Victory slip away.
Hey Composite,
Not a problem buddy. Will be posting all season long. I can't believe it either. 2-0 up and cruising at HT and then they let the lead slip. Thats why Adelaide won't be a league contender this season, great teams dont let those leads slip especially 2-0..

Awesome Micalf. What part of Western Sydney you from? Im near Parramatta??
Yeah i must admit I did like Sydney FC to begin with because they were the only Sydney team in the comp but wasn't really into the A-League much but once I started going to WSW games last year, I just loved going to watch them play and the atmosphere is awesome. Apart from the hooligans that use the flares, thats just stupid. Im not part of the RBB, just a normal supporter that goes and watches a good game of football.

Hey nice to have some insight in Australian football. Victory's loss of Rojas must be crucial for them? He was hyped big time in Germany and half of the Bundesliga chased after him. Unfortunately he decided not to go to Bremen but join Stuttgart. And now he is injured so we can't see what this kid is able to do. GL with your plays

I'm from Merrylands, yeh some of your fans are just hooligans but you are right about the atmosphere.
Kaiser the loss of Rojas for the victory is huge apart of ADP he was by far the best player in the league last year and they've replaced him with a rookie who has no were near the talent of Rojas.

Awesome man, im from Greystanes so just down the road from each other. Such a small world.
Agree with the loss of Rojas. That kid was incredible last year and now the Victory have replaced him with a rookie who isn't at the same level.

Hey Kaiser,
Definitely think he should have gone to Bremen instead of Stuttgart.
Once he is match fit, he will show Europe how good he is. Unfortunately for us Aussies though, he is from New Zealand so we can't have him for our World Cup Squad
Thanks Kaiser, BOL on your plays as well. This week doesn't look too good for me. Hopefully Perth and Newcastle draw so it gets my bankroll above positive.
