1st half in both games the horns played they were absolutely useless - but 2nd halves were good. Defense was stout and kept them in the games. If they play well for a whole game with these new QBs, I think horns cover. I'm on the horns to cover

Great write up mate. I was looking for more insight into this game and you've helped immensely. Boise seems to start seasons really well, and in big games too. May be the Kellen factor but as you and jimmy pointed out, they score quick and early. Over may be the way to go, but will wait till closer to game time to pull the trigger

All season (so far) I've been thinking Tex does not have enough to beat OU. After last week my feelings were confirmed, and I figured the spread should be at least 7. However now I am beginning to think the Horns are "wounded", and thus dangerous. Figure Mack will have no choice but to open it up. Not sure yet which way to go - depends on the line clost to game time

Love the Bama, Ok st, Iowa, Tex a & m plays Nos. Leaning Cal but not sold just yet as Nevada looked real good.
Like yourself was on Texas last 2 weeks and they didnt cover....disappointing. They are starting to play much better though (big improvement week 1-2) so I'm leaning on them vs Tex Tech this week. Your thoughts? BOL mate

I'm on ISU on this. Their QB and RB are back and they played really well towards the end of last season - under the 1st year coach. Should do well in the non-conf games I think coz they'll have a rough time in conf.
A couple of the other cappers, felt the under is also a good call. I kind of agree.

Thanks Boom. Agree with you on both but am also thinking Iowa St, at home, with QB and RB returning. |

This is bowl time, for all the marbles, expect the unexpected, just like we saw in the Bama /Fla game. Stats go out the window. Texas will cover

Not saying he should not go to ND. He absolutely should to further his career - everyone is entitled to that. Just think he should stay for the bowl game - to finish the season with his team as he started it. I think the kids would understand and accept that better as well.

Please prove me wrong and supply a legit source .... make me cheer harder for the horns next time Who knows if it was actually said or not, but its all over the media. Apparently a coach said it not once but twice. It is disgraceful if it is in fact true - and I cant believe they wouldn't be made to apologize for such public comments.

Huskers offense cost them the win, not the refs... lots of rumors floating around about OC watson...we have lost 2 commits the past 2 days (qb and WR). They dont like the direction of the offense...It will be very interesting to see if watson returns next year.. I am not a fan but am impressed with what Pellini has done the the program - on the D side. The O though is another matter, and I am sure Pellini knows that well enough. It is worrisome when you start losing recruits though, so Bo will heave to move quick to prevent further damage.

Both teams to had chances to put that game away and neither did, Texas got a few bounces that last drive and won, maybe it was the football Gods paying them back after Gideon dropped the interception last year at Tech, who knows but it's over and time to move on. well said. There were huge mistakes on both sides. At the end of the day, the team which took advantage of the breaks won.

Good coach but no class. Why burn bridges as he has just done with Cincy and more importantly the kids who bought into him and played their hearts out all year. Particularly since ND is not going bowling anyway. Feel sorry for the kids cant blame them for feeling backstabbed.
Big Q - what does this do to the bowl game. I hear his OC (who was with him for the past 22 years, and most likely will leave with him as soon as he can) will coach the bowl game. Do you folks think Cincy will be deflated and get killed in the Sugar Bowl, or come out fired up , play lights out, and cover the spread ?????
