This one is all systems go for a blowout. Especially if Dallas does not cover against Denver on Sunday.
The Grizz are decimated with injuries, and locker room fallout behind the buyout and eventual release of Damon Stoudamire. Conley has taken over for him, but sat out the game against the Clippers with a chest contusion. Coming back in this game, his timing and minutes will be off collectively. Not good against a jelling Dallas team that is trying to keep pace in their division. The Dallas guards will have their way with the rookie.
The Grizzlies already have wonwhat i call their "not supposed to win" (because of the injuries to Gasol, and Stoudamire situation, etc) against the Clippers. No such luck ths time. I will get this bet over rather quickly, as the spread may end up being outrageous by gametime. Whatever the case may be, i will buy 3 points off of it.
This game will get ugly in the third quarter when Dallas superior depth starts to show up. Stackhouse is out for a week with a mildly strained right hamstring injury, but they won't miss him. This game will be all about free throw %, rebounding and layups. The Grizz have absolutey no answer for Dallas penetration to the basket. Hakin Warrick is prone to make fouls, and he will be in foul trouble early as Dallas guards continually beat the guards of Memphis and create opportunities in the lane or penetrations and dishes to Nowitzki, or Howard. the three point line also will be wide open too. memphis has no discipline, and they are not well coached. Huge coaching advantage in this matchup for Dallas.

Who do you think is gonna be good this year in baseball? I'm thinking Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Red Sox (obviously), Angels, and I think the Cubs and Rockies will be good too.
The Tigers are my favorite to go all the way. That fucker Zumaya better get his arm right over the offseason. If he does, the Tigers are gonna be stacked. I was thnking that I may watch the first week or two. I have to see a couple of teams get swept before I start wagering. Have a feeling the Giants are gonna be doormats out west. Give me some feedback, or if you want to discuss it privately, then add onto my friends list and we can do it on the personal spaces. Makes no difference to me. But we can't afford to be under prepared. I made a big amount of cash last year using my system plays. The Nationals were my favorite wagering team last year. They just kill on the run line. They always lost by only one run. I also loved the young pitcher Guthrie from the Orioles. That guy had an outstanding WHIP. if he were on the Pirates, they'd make some noise. The Pirates look to be good under team again along with the A's, as they have done absolutely nothing to get a hot bat in the stove time.

And I am currently watching the game, and it is beginning to be clear that Dallas won't cover, so yeah, coming off an ats loss at home against Denver the Mavs will arrive in a foul mood to play Team Splintered.
Even with the injury to Devin Harris. All that that means is Jason Terry will score more points, and Dallas will closely resemble the team that won hella games last year.

Though the line was a little high in the Denver game. Anyway, good night for me 3-0 taking Denver, Minnesota and the Bucks. Up 6 units in my posted picks since joining 10 days ago.
Anyway, quick question for you basketball handicappers. How much "weight" do you put on the motivational aspect of the game? I'm much more experienced in hockey handicapping and I'm finding that with basketball, the motivational factor is HUGE. More so than in other sports. Any comments are appreciated.

Uncle CK, watch out for my Atlanta Braves.......With Tex at first base and a real 3rd starter with Glavine back, the Bravos will make another dominate push in the NL East. Smoltz, Hudson, and Glavine make up one of the best starting rotations in the NL this year.

Give this kid the Oscar. You need to write for newspaper. Even if what you're saying doesn't come true. It sure sounds like good thing. Keep it coming cock.

Kong, what the fuck is that? His breath must be bad. Anyway,
the challenge is over between me and johnnybegame and mixnuts
I don't know where they ended up. the ysuddenly stopped posting
After going 3-1 on Sunday with
Cleveland+7.5 win
Portland-3 loss
Portland 2nd half win
New York+13 win
The record stands at 15-5 for the week, which in our world is the equivalent of a blowout. This upcoming week looks to be a fruitful one, and i plan on starting it off right with 3 plays on Monday.

CK, look out for the D-Backs... they have a young talented squad and just picked up former A's ace Dan Haren, which gives them a ridiculous 1, 2 punch... plus they traded away valverde which is smart cuz this was the only year he didn't have a horrendous second half. Qualls is a quality arm and will do fine at closer.
Also Kong is right. Atlanta runs a quality organization and they made some good moves this off season.
In the AL the central will be rediculous. The White sox did a ton to improve that shotty bullpen that held them down. They already have the bats and some quality starters. Mix them with the Indians and Tigers and you've got a tough division. Plus if Francisco Liriano can come back and pitch like he did before the arm injury look out for them. It's gonna be a good baseball season this year. Glad you mentioned it, cuz I'll be on board for that if you cap baseball too. GL and keep making me money.

I don't think that Dallas can overlook Memphis just because of what you said. With games against Detroit, Boston and Orlando on this road trip, they're gonna want to start off the trip on a good foot, and blow off the Grizzlies. I expect the spread to be somewhere around Dallas-6, wherein i will take it down to Dallas-3, and play it that way.
wangichu,
I totally forgot about the D-Backs. Their leader Eric Byrnes is a former Oakland A so I got to see him hustle for years out here in person, and believe me, he leaves it all on the field. Great player for any organization to have. I do see them and the Dodgers battling it out. The Dodogers have that coach now though, so it should be interesting. As far as the Braves are concerned, what's up with Andruw Jones? Is he still there, him and Mark T, and Chippo will be a good threesome in the middle of the batting order.

andruw jones signed a two year deal with the dodgers. That kind of power in the middle of the lineup combined with a far superior defensive cannon to ol' noodle arm juan pierre sets the dodgers up nicely.

CK Says: "the challenge is over between me and johnnybegame and mixnuts": Hey, I didn't know, I was in some "challenge"? As far as where I've ben, Thanks For Your Concern! I don't visit this site everyday. I've ben enjoying myself. Conrats, on that 15-5 for the week, 20 games in 1 week, WOW I don't play that many games, maybe 20 in a month. However, IF thats what makes you profits, Keep It Up. The times I post is b/c I can't resist when the facts regarding which side the money is on and etc, are totaly off, so I post to gve correct Info. (IF I Have It) As one can see, I'm always right on, otherwise, I don't post. I do agree with the guy that said CK You should be a sports writer.
