The Florida/Idaho game scheduled for last night was postponed due to weather/lightning and may end up being cancelled (declared "no contest") due to lack of available make-up dates between the teams. Obviously, this rare postponement leaves certain pool participants one game short of the 10 games necessary for Week 1.
For those of you who played the Florida/Idaho game and now need a "replacement" pick for Week 1, here are your options:
1) You can switch out the Florida/Idaho game for one of the remaining 3 games this week (Utah State vs Tennessee, SMU vs Baylor, Miami vs Louisville) as long as you have NOT already selected that game. Simply email me the "replacement" pick or reply in this thread with your "replacement" pick as our pool page will NOT let you exceed 10 picks per week.
2) Next week, per usual, make your 10 selections for Week 2. However, email me or reply in this thread with an additional (11th) selection from the Week 2 slate that I will count retroactively towards Week 1 as your "replacement" pick for the Florida/Idaho game postponement.
Hopefully, this clears things up and gives you decent options to replace the Florida/Idaho postponement debacle. Remember, you must email me or reply in this thread with your "replacement" pick PRIOR TO KICKOFF of said game. Thanks.

It's now official: the Florida/Idaho game originally scheduled for last Saturday, August 30th has been declared a "No Contest" and will NOT be rescheduled.
It appears that the only person in our pool affected by said cancellation is Bryan Darch (bdarch). Bryan will be allowed an additional (11th) pick from the Week 2 slate that will serve as his replacement pick for the Florida/Idaho debacle and count retroactively towards his Week 1 record.
Bryan will post said replacement pick in this thread (prior to kickoff).
