The Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board has decided former President Donald Trump is due a $1 million refund on his skyscraper’s 2011 tax bill, ruling last month that the Cook County Board of Review overestimated the value of the building’s hotel rooms and retail space.
But the Cook County State’s Attorney has filed suit with the Illinois Appellate Court, seeking to block the tax refund, which has yet to be issued.
If Trump ends up with the tax refund, it would come out of property taxes due to the city of Chicago and eight other government agencies, including Chicago Public Schools, which stands to lose the biggest chunk of money, about $540,000.
It’s the latest twist in the case originally filed by Ald. Edward M. Burke, whose law firm argued Cook County officials had over-assessed Trump’s skyscraper.
Chicago’s Cook County Attorney is behind the attempt to stop the payment. Kim Foxx is leading the charge. It is a question mark as to who really is behind this constant harassment of the President.

Did you read the article that you attached? Do you realize the alderman, Edward Burke, was a Trumpster way back to 2010 & won him more than 14 million covering over a dozen years? Do you realize the same guy has been indicted by a federal grand jury for blocking city permits unless they used his law firm?
But there's more...
Any decision by the appellate court can be appealed to the Illinois Supreme Court, headed by Burke’s wife, Chief Justice Anne M. Burke.
And Burke is a Democrat.
So please stop trying to portray your boy as a victim. Everyone he comes in contact with becomes a victim of this POS.

You made over 100 million so obviously the government should give you a million.... fuck that traitor... seize all assets and divide it to the victims of his failed coop attempt.

@THEMUGG Wrong again. Chicago's not even close to being the murder capital. There are about 10 other cities with higher murder rates per 100k people.
Chicago's pretty fucked. It's not the murder capitol because it's a huge city and they calculate that stuff per capita. If they rated South Side Chi as it's own city, it'd be pretty high up there but yeah, it's pretty cheesy how people are always, "...but Chicago..." There are a ton of grimy cities out there with high murder rates. Most people who post shit like that have no idea what's really going on in these cities. Make no mistake though. The Chi, the South Side, is pretty fucked.

If you read the article I NEVER once tried to portray him as a "VICTIM" I am GLAD the city of Chicago was exposed for ripping people off...surely he was not the only one that overpaid...

Law enforcement harasses those who have a history of fraud just like his fake charity.
@StumpTownStu
I'm not denying Chicago has a problem but so do other much smaller cities like Little Rock, Baltimore, Birmingham, St. Louis etc. If you don't measure it per capita, how else would you rather measure it?

What was posted again WAS FROM THE NEWS ARTICLE which I did not write. Again, I was not claiming he was harassed. I just love how the city of Chicago was exposed...BIG DIFFERENCE.
