Look... 5 brain dead losers making 78 posts about what strain of marijuana they like to smoke. LOSERS.
Im sorry that you choose to throw an absolute tantrum because you arent "cool". can't enter the circle, or be able to join whats going on in the "club house"...

I get alot of off shoots of kush and jack (orange kush, bubba/bubble jack etc)... Other common strains.off shoots that come my way, train wreck, diesel, AK47, green crack... so although you might like them. but i see these all the time and is what i typically get...
So what i like is also based on it being rare in my circle/area and being above and beyond the quality stuff i usually get...
I also do not like fruit, hydro, purple/colored type of stuff... typically view it as more of a gimmick...
so here is a few of my top in no real order...
1. Lamb's bread... probably the most happy/spiritual type of strain I have ever encountered... strong be not heavy....calming but also motivating...
2. northern lights... have had this on a few occasions but this was the
first high quality i ever had more then a decade ago was like $600/Oz
type stuff
3. White Widdow... I actually havent seen this for many years now, but when i first got it I thought it was laced because it was just covered in crystals... I got with in a year of the NLs and these were the only "one hitter quitters" I knew at that time...
4. God...
i actually just got this yesterday and jumped on it because I have never tried it before... It looked decent enough, but when i tried it I was some crazy stuff... Kinda creeped on me in that i thought I was cool and maintaining until i stood up and realized that it was alot stronger then i thought...
This is the best stuff i have had in the last 5 years other then the lambs bread...

Mikado,,, I know you've used a vaporizer before but what method of smoking do you all of you mainly use now,,?
I love blunts the most but at this point they've become to harsh on the lungs,,
Vap is the way to go or possibly joints,, bongs just destroy your throat and voice,, you know what I'm saying??
Since getting my card, I've found edibles are the way to go. There are these particular cookies I get from Mile High Harmony that are Coconut, Ginger and Spice - best tasting edibles (or cookie) for that matter I've ever had. I don't like to taste the bud a whole lot when I'm eatting, so I go through about 10 of those a week.
However certain occasions like now, I just feel like smoking a blunt of UK Cheese. It's definitely like 3x more wasteful than the vaporizer, but I feel it comes on stronger. After a while smoking blunts your lungs definitely feel it. I try to keep it at under 2 a week.
Bongs are supposed to filter the smoke, however with the way you have to inhale to hit a bong you have to draw air deeper in your lungs than any other method - probably the reason it tears you up so much. Used to be a big fan of them, but now I've completely gravitated to the vaporizer based on taste and longevity.
As for bowls, they are they standard. Always there when other devices are impractical or not available.

By the way Stiln, there are these hemp papers called RAW that I've been using instead of blunts lately that are just as good if not better than a Dutch. They come in blunt sizes which is also great. Cleanest, smoothest papers I have ever used. Not to mention very slow burning.

I think a lot of the Purps are fruity stuff you mentioned is very much novelty strains. People just like it because it is a lot different from the rest. While different isn't always bad, purple a lot of times is a result of a nutrient deficiency. Some strains like Purple Urkel, and Purple Dream more so get their name from the pheno they are and are naturally a purplish tone.
Great list bud. Some excellent names you posted above.
I have to agree that Lamb's breed takes the cake on that list.
God bud is nice as well, used to use it for pain a lot, now I mostly stick with Trainwreck or Cheese for that because those cuts I get now are better than the God I've had.

blow torches and getting blasted dont mix... I think if you use the method exclusively in a 2 year period you will end up at the hospital at least once for a serious burn injury....

Ive had the urkel, was decent... never had dream... ive had purple kush and purple haze and thought it was okay...
trainwreck can get too heavy for me at times... Cheese similar...
This God stuff is amazing
similar to trainwreck in some ways where you kinda phase in and out...
The situation with dispensaries sounds great in CO...i kinda dont want to do the medical thing unless there is access to dispensaries...
But I do like supporting local growers and mixing it up with the stuff that is coming from elsewhere
My friend at the dispensary told me that you can't classify God Bud as an Indica or Sativa because it's kinda both.
The first effects are uppy like sativa then like half an hour later you're like what the hell as it gradually turns into more indica in effects. Which is much of the reason God and others like it are so good for pain, its effects change substantially over the course of the high.
What you said is what the dispensaries do out here. It's at least 70% grown by them, the rest is brought in from growers across the state.

bold part not true....most purps turn purp b/c of low temperature

I said most of the time, meaning a lot of people intentionally turn the plant purple based on aesthetic appeal.
Purple has more to do with genetics than temperature. Temp can definitely influence coloration but usually isn't as influential as genetics are.
Anybody can turn a plant purple if they try hard enough to fuck it up that way.
My main argument is a majority of Purps out there aren't really "Purps".
For purple color to develop upon maturation, a strain must have the genetic potential to produce anthocyanin pigments. However, the color might never be shown if environmental conditions don’t cause chlorophyll breakdown. Colombian and Hindu Kush strains tend to develop purple coloration when subjected to low night temperatures during the end of their life cycles. Purple Orangutan, originally from Afghanistan with heavy traits of the Hindu Kush, produces some of the darkest purple and blue tones found in any marijuana strain.
Another pigment called carotenoid is largely responsible for the yellow, orange, red and brown colors of marijuana. These colors begin to show in the leaves and calyxes of certain strains as the green chlorophyll color fades. Gold strains reveal underlying yellow and orange pigments as they mature. Red strains are usually closer to reddish brown in color, though certain carotenoid and anthocyanin pigments are nearly red, and streaks of these colors occasionally appear in the petioles (the slender stems supporting the leaflets) in ripe flowers. The red color in pressed, low-grade tops often consists of masses of reddish-brown dried pistils.
