My guy hasn't released lines yet. I was hoping to get better than +110 for Sonnen. Oh well. I'm sure the Faber line is unbettable. I'm hoping to get a decent price for Pulver and McCullough but not holding my breath. I'm not even being offered the Osterneck/Rosholt fight.

fabers about -550. I'm not touching sonnan. could go either way. Folho could come out empty but he's also gonna outweigh this guy by a ton and is a much more skilled fighter. No play for me. Pulver's around -200. you will get mccullough at even or + money

Looking at the Sonnen fight, all his losses have been by submission, one of which was already to Filho. Line seems a bit curious since Filho is so good at subs.

Didn't Kush say he's on Filho?
yeah. you know Filho was 7 lbs over yesterday right?

hoops do you know anything about that osterneck guy or do you just like the price"?
I don't know him personally, but he's a Myrtle Beach boy. Some people I know are looking to get down on him pretty nicely.
He's got some nasty jui-jitsu. I think one of my buddies has been embarrassed by him a few times. Osterneck has also won several Gracie events, and the 2006 Nationals.
Rosholt is a WORLD CLASS wrestler. So that means he can take anyone down. Excellent thing to have against a striker, but not a submission specalist. Also his first fight with a major promotion so a little step up from the donks he's been going against.
I'm just trying to put 2 and 2 together in this one.
As for Sonnen, Filoh is a mess. He checked himself into rehab earlier this year. He's known about this fight for months now and the fact he weighs in 7lbs overwieght on his first try? What does that tell you? In the extra 2 hours after the first weighin, he could only lose 3 more. That just tells you how out of shape the guy is.
The line for this one was +400 when thye fought last year. It opened +160 for the rematch. Fishy?
Sonnen was actually winning the fight the entire time, and got caught in an arm bar.
I'm just banking on Filoh not giving a fuck about the fight, being completely out of shape, and Sonnen being pissed enough to murder him, and get himself a big boost since there isn't any more 185lb class in the WEC, and those guys will be moving up to the UFC instead.

Interesting. I'm a little suprised Rosholt is such a heavy favorite given the particulars. I may lay a lil on Osternck. and you may have just talked me into a sonnen bet.

Well, I mean Rosholt is a 3x NCAA wrestling champ, lost in the championship semis his soph year I think? And I believe his juinor year, he did it with a torn MCL he got in the final month of the season.
That's solid.
I guess it will come down to how good his submission defense is.
LINK to his first fight just a little over a year ago.

k I changed my mind. In that article clutch posted they compared him to koscheck when he was on TUF. He is way more advanced than koscheck was at that stage in the game. No bet for me.

But don't forget, Rosholt has just about the same experience now as Koscheck did when he went on TUF.
Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I've met Koscheck before. Back around 2000, because one of my good friends was big time at Edinboro at the same time. Wow, never realized that.

I put a unit on Sonnen +140. Going to take a chance and wait on McCullough and hope it goes up. Either way, I'll be putting a unit on him at +$. A Pulver bet is still a possibilty as well.
