It's gotten to the point where police literally could lynch a black male on camera during a traffic stop (and this was a de facto lynching of sorts) and people like Hugh will break out the following to justify it:
1) "Look at the number of blacks who commit violent crimes."
2) "Look at his criminal record."
3) "Why didn't he perfectly follow police orders?"
There are more of course but any of those are used as a three-card monte excuse permutation to clear the cop of any and all wrong-doing. These excuses are currently being aggressively formulated and will be provided to the mass media shortly to justify this shooting. It will go FAR beyond a broken tail light, I can promise you that. Then the bigots here will have the comfort they desire.
And then they, like Hugh, will go on their merry way and make themselves a nutella and fluff sandwich and casually turn off the footage of this guy passing and turn on the ball game for one reason and one reason only:
Any black male who is not an athlete or in a position of prominence to them, or is outside their community circle, is of no use to them, so live or die, they are completely disconnected and empathyless towards all of them.
End of story.
Hugh goes way back folks. I go way back. All the way to Wagerline before I was even signed up to this site but still read the threads here. He's expressed such sentiments since day 1 and hasn't changed. And why would he? What would he gain? Recognition of another's humanity provides him with nothing. Dehuminazation of blacks fits into his personal narrative he's formed through his upbringing and/or environment inside and outside of his home, and all he's consumed via various media in his life. And if you are dehumanized, your life is not only less valuable, but like cattle, it's just a commodity to be bought and sold (as it has been historically) or taken at will.
None of this translates into significant personal or financial gain, it is a non-issue to him. And none of what I say affects him. In fact, he almost certainly won't even read this post (as many here of his ilk proudly tout when you call them out for saying the exact same things).
I can promise you this: Any kid I raise will be the absolute antithesis of people like Hugh and many others here in every regard, so in that light, many here have provided me with a very valuable archetype. They should be proud of that.

And just remember, what started as a broken tail light has resulted in a man being shot 4 times subsequently broadcast to the world. A tail light...
I remember another man was armed. He was a mass murderer. Arrested without incident. And...:
The man accused of gunning down nine people inside a historic black church in South Carolina was “polite” and “quiet” while he was in police custody in North Carolina, according to a police chief who spoke with the Charlotte Observer.
Dylann Roof, 21, was apprehended by Shelby police on Thursday. He has been charged with nine counts of murder in a mass shooting inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, last Wednesday.
Police arrested him without incident.
Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford told the Charlotte Observer that when Roof complained he was hungry, cops went to a nearby Burger King and bought the accused mass murderer a meal while he was in custody.

As news broke Thursday night that at least four police officers in Dallas had been murdered, hundreds of Black Lives Matter protesters took to social media to celebrate, condone, or excuse the shootings...........nice.
BLM protesters should be treated as terrorist.

approximately 40% of SNAP recipients are white, making white people the largest racial group on food stamps. When it comes to TANF recipients, approximately 30% are white, 30% are Latino and 30% are black, with several other racial groups making up the remaining 10% of recipients.
Considering systemic inequalities that put people of color behind white people in terms of wage earnings, this somewhat even distribution of need-based aid is actually
concerning
