There are many historical and numerological signs that all point to a Bruins W in Game 7...they are as follows..
1. In 2001, on June 9 (SEVEN days prior to tomorrow), Colorado won the Cup with a 3-1 win over NJ. This was most notable for Ray Borque (who spent21 seasons with BOSTON) getting his 1st Cup.
2. In 2004, TB beat Calgary 2-1 in Game 7 to claim the Cup. An East Team (that Boston beat in Game 7 to advance to the Final this year) beat a Canadian West Team.
3. In 2006, The Carolina Hurricanes defeated Edmonton 3-1 in Game 7 to win the cup. 5 years after 2001 w/ the same score as the 2001 final. AND Another East Team beating a Canadian West Team. Also March Recchi (now w/ Boston) won his 1st Cup.
4. In 2009, Pittsburgh beat Detroit 2-1 in Game 7 to win the cup. 5 years after 2004 w/ the same score. And an East team winning the Game 7 on the road.
2011 is 5 years after 2006. I expect the East Team to beat the Canadian West Team once AGAIN by a score of 3-1. Also Note: The only time these two teams faced off in the regular season was @ Vancouver and Boston won 3-1.
Other things to Note
- Boston has outscored 19-8 in the Series. Justice would be served with a Bruins victory. The Hockey Gods should factor in somehow.
- Nathan Horton scored both Game 7 winners vs. TB and Montreal. Now he is absent for this Game 7 after being knocked out viciously by Aaron Rome. Well, you know what they say...When in Rome...
Expect the Bruins to be vicious in their attack and Win this one for their Hero. All being said, the UNDER is the BEST play.

So unless you're a Canuck backer you can't have an opinion?
I think he means the horseshit about "7 games prior" and "5 years before" etc. Numbers and stats that don't mean shit. Hockey gods? You better also check the astrology charts and ask the Easter bunny who he's got.
Hortons injury will be avenged but the cheap shot on Mason Raymond won't. "When in Rome"? That doesn't even make sense. You couldn't think of another expression with the word Rome in it so you used it anyway?
I don't know who wins tonight but as for the OPs OP its...well......... Horseshit.

Good Luck Folks!! LETS GOO BOSTON!!
Im sorry but when you label something as a "must read" such as this then you open yourself to criticism, and this is a terrible collection of meaningless "stats and trends" if you can even call them that. It is not even a stat or trend that appears to be very rare, and you have two different scores listed with a bunch of meaningless dates attached to them. Boston may well will, but this anaylsis and past history you have pointed out will have absolutely nothing to do with it.

canucks are excellent at home. you are forgetting that very important fact. Another one you might need to remember is that home teams in game 7 stanley cups are 12-3

Hoping for a Bruins win so Adam McQuaid can bring the Stanley Cup to my home province of PEI, just like Richards did in 2004, beating a "west" team in Calgary, food for thought.

I like B's tonight, but that 12-3 record is something to consider,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Goals scored in this series and the fact that Vancouver hasn't lost at home are the ONLY relevant facts listed here so far. What two completely different organizations did five or ten years ago is completely meaningless for tonight game. I feel sorry for you that you even took the time to type this up.
With that said, I like the Bruins tonight if only for the sheer fact that I'm getting plus money on them. Also, they legitimately could have won every game played in Vancouver. They are outplaying Vancouver in this series. It's just a matter other making the breaks go their way this game.
