article about them being out and partying last night. Mentally checked out of series. They weren't winning anyways. They can't win at home, how they going to win on the road and can't score on PP.

Which begs the question...with the news that some of the Panther players didn't realize they were in a b2b (that was one story)...and with 70% of the tickets and 80% of the money on the Lightning...why is the line frozen between -125/-130??? Big name casinos opened at -125 and are at -130. That's not a legit line movement for 75/80% of the bucks coming in on the Bolts. Not RLM, but it's definitely a frozen line.
One article said the players didn't realize they were playing b2b. Really? The coaches didn't remind them? Oh, okay...slipped their minds, uh huh. And a 1:30 pm Sunday game ends around, what...4pm? So by 5:30-6:00pm they were headed to the gentleman's club...or clubs? Really?
Totally believe Ju_lie's post, not arguing that...read it with my own eyes (thank you Jules) but every story I'm reading is quoting the same 2 guys on a sports talk station in TB. Can't find any "witnesses"...just hearsay...some guy said he saw them partying til around 3 am...and every newspaper/website runs with that story? ML's holding at -130? Okay then...the books are giving away free money. Get'ya some!!! Anybody know if Butthead was in a private room?
No clue here...except I'm gonna watch and enjoy!!!

But down 2-0 they couldn't give their best effort? What a joke. If the Panthers win tonight it'll be because Tampa got a bit complacent with a commanding 3-0 lead.

Regardless of who wins you should see the panthers best effort of the series tonight, I stand by that statement, I didn't say anything about who wins. You know what is a joke though, the sickening amount of help the Lightning and Avs are getting from the leagues officials in all their games. The league itself is a joke.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

This is what is so concerning to me.....

to see their best effort that would require doing the dirty work. actually going in the corners..blocking pucks with your limbs and knee caps..the stuff the champs do but they refuse to do. finesse might work in the regular season..post season is for the big boys

My heart just skipped a beat...a Bads post outside of his thread. Florida hasn't shown that, I agree but these are very prideful professionals and I expect to see a totally different game from the Cats. No matter the outcome of the game, Tampa has proven they are elite.

then they better get dirty doc or 0 chance. imo game 3 was that game.. that was desperation throw everything you got to get a win and they wanted none of it. not in their dna. hedman literally took away a goal val was screened on because he stuck his knee into the puck

I don't want to say the league is a joke, but every professional talking head I have heard on the radio and TV had NO DOUBT that Hagel should have been assessed at least a 5 minute major for that cross check. Hell, even NHL had an ex-official on today that stated he would have called it a major. I do think the league has favorites and your boys are one of them.

I TOTALLY agree...GAME 3 was the desperate game to not go down 3-0 and they shitt the bed. The goal in the last second of the second game was the back breaker. My money is on the Bolts tonight but I am nervous, no team likes to be swept plus it is b2b and the Bolts know they can afford to take a night off.

Agree they are toast. Unless you see multiple and I mean many powerplays for the Florida team this is game set match. If the ref,s start calling the powerplays go all in on Florida to win. Great write up.

The worst part is they called it a major penalty to begin with then reduced it after looking at it? Or did the call come in to just call it a minor? I can't remember ever seeing back to back 5on3's in a playoff series like the Tampa got against the Leafs. It is just too obvious who Buttman and his boys want to advance.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

Several days ago Elliott was projected to be going tonight in the b2b, but it's Vas (rightly so)...and also Bob on the b2b. Who knows, maybe that's why the line is frozen (even with 75/80% Boltsbucks?). Books (greedy f Oo ks) don't want to tempt Panthers backers in the least? Whatever...cheers all !!!

Agreed, Should have been a major 5, surprised it was overturned. But that's the breaks of the game. I've seen so many games with BAD calls, all sports, some went my teams way, some didn't. Maybe I've gotten used to it but it doesn't bog me down. I think they even out over time. It's probably why I still bet, onto the next game, that's how I deal with it, complaining only makes me mad and certainly doesn't help. Like a bad shot in golf, I know you understand that, forget about it, onto the next shot or your round is all but ruined.

I watch very little of the league anymore, when I do it is usually because I wagered on a game that came up in my chart system, which I will wager on because I like money. I will still watch certain teams that play a bigger heavier style with skill. I did bet the Avs and Bolts to be in the finals at the end of the regular season based on skill level, goaltending and league bias. And there can be bias in something and one can still be entertained by it, it just makes the purity of it a joke, and one can still enjoy the skill level they are seeing, especially when you played the sport your entire life, albeit a very different brand of the sport.

I just saw a report that a guy, who's known only as "M-Russo", was seen providing directions to the Tampa Area Red Light district , bottles of liquor, and large quantities of Single Dollar Bills to several FLA Panthers as they exited the locker room. Local Police have been searching for this "Person of Interest", but as of yet, have not been able to locate him.
Please be on the lookout for a "M-Russo", and if you have any information, please call the Tampa PD.
