Happy Night Before Trade Day Everyone! Up something like 14.5 units since Saturday.
2 Team Parlay (1 to win 1.7) New Jersey Devils -165 vs Toronto Maple Leafs Nashville Predators -145 vs Edmonton Oilers I believe TOR will be competitive in this game tonight and may be Brodeurs toughest test since the return. But not competitive enough. Minor concern about NSH in a letdown spot but these are huge points and they have played well lately.
Florida Panthers -1½ +205vs Atlanta Thrashers
Vokoun is back in. Are the cats for real? FLA has nice stretches of 3-5 wins in a row while ATL have only won 2 or more games on three occassions this season and the last time was a while ago. FLA are clearly better and they get their main guy back. HUGE game for the cats. BUF and CAR could be 5 points behind with a win. FLA are the better team and lets see if Vokoun can completely blank them in their own building. Its now or never.
Bowwwwww ow owwwwwww!
The rest are all the 140+ dogs. I actually really do like a few of these. In fact, all of them have a legit shot. Comments below the picks. By the way, this strategy comes to you compliments of LIPPSMAN. I hope to hit at least 4. All one unit plays.
Tampa Bay Lightning +150 vs Pittsburgh Penguins
St Louis Blues +155 vs Detroit Red Wings
Los Angeles Kings +145 vs Columbus Blue Jackets
Philadelphia Flyers +145 vs Boston Bruins
Carolina Hurricanes +175 vs Washington Capitals
Toronto Maple Leafs +145 vs New Jersey Devils
Anaheim Ducks +158 vs Chicago Blackhawks
Minnesota Wild +150 vs Vancouver Canucks
Dallas Stars +215 vs San Jose Sharks
* Crosby is out again and despite recent success, they have struggled historically against this team.
* Detroit are not playing very well lately and not very good on the road. As I mentioned yesterday, the Blues may be playing the best they have played in years. Blues have allowed no more than one goal in 5 games and one or less in 7 of the last 8.
* CLB returns home from a road trip. Is it really that much to ask for LA to beat them? Seriously?
* I dont see any reason why Cam Ward can't out play Theodore here. CAR may be stinging after blowing that lead in ATL the other night and I will lean with Ward to stop more than the Theodore. Another big game for CAR. If they lose here then I say they are done.
* Chicago may be leading in the standings but this is still a recent Stanley Cup winner with experience. CHI struggling as of late. It could be Prongers last game (although it sounds like talks have simmered down). There is no way the Hawks should be favored by this much.
* That DAL loss on Sunday came the day after a war with ANA. They arn't going to quit. The best thing for DAL is to get out of DAL. DAL are 8-3 last 11 and road team this series is 17-7 last 24. It be just like Turco to stand on his head when you expect him to falter. Meanwhile, San Jose returns home after a luke warm road trip. The scoring seems to have slid downhill.
