There's alot of talk about Texans actually having a legit shot at FINALLY winning in Indy. Texans seem to have stepped up their game play somewhat, and the Colts are very banged up right now. Lets not forget, the Texans have already proved to everyone this year that they are a capable team againt Manning in their very first game... I say all this because all signs and evidence indicate taking a team that may not even need the spread to win as a bettor, but still getting +5.5 pts SHOULD be an easy pick....
But why can't I feel comfortable about putting my $$$ against the living legend Manning?

Easiest answer? Because he's playing the worst pass defense in the league at home on Monday night with same-season revenge. The line would be 7.5 or more if he hadn't lost Clark and Collie. But don't think for a minute that Anthony Gonzalez and Pierre Garcon can't do as well or better. Addai's health could be cause for concern but Donald Brown isn't a slouch. I don't see why this is such a hard game to handicap. Houston beat them in Texas, which is great for the line in this game. Everyone is over-thinking it. Houston is a decent team and will probably not be blown out. The number is odd also and makes people wonder. Personally, I'll buy the line down to 2.5 and end all doubt. But I imagine I don't need to worry, even at 5.5. I may lose. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. But I can't see any way the Texans win this.

Can Peyton throw the ball to himself? is he a running threat? Who in the league is feared this year?...NOBODY, everyone thinks they have a shot- hell look at Buffalo, the best 0-7 team in the league...-5.5 means the book is not sure. take the points-

hey fellows he still has the most underrated wide out in league with reggie wayne and coming off a bye freeney and mathis are going to be very hungry especailly to stop the run there is no way they let foster run for 3 tds again tonight at home on monday night. that place is going to be electric all night long and manning is just going to feed off the crowd and pick apart that pathetic defense.
Do we not member when new york came into indy on primetime?
oh ya the colts were very impressivr and more important that D was very impressive

i believe buffalo is the only 0-7 team in the league.

i thought the same exact thing the last time i BET ON MANNING, it was in primetime off a bye too, on a pretty big stage as well - Superbowl 44, shoulda bet against him

arghhhh I'm laying light action on this one tonight.... my logical side would dictate a "stay away" but my degenerate side is making me throw a little something down "just to amplify the meaning of the game"
