Nice to see you around pucku. I remember your amazing NBA hot streak. Nice to see you on my team the Rams. Yeah, we are night and day. Odds on us to win the diviosn are 13-1, BTW! Worth a $50 bet to me.
Not sure about SF. Check the stats on mid week firings. Not many teams cover that next game. Bye week firings are much more reliable. But for me the play depends on who is QB for Seattle. If it is one of their crappy backups you have a good shot.
I sure hope you are right about that STL pick. We still haev trouble stopping the run and protecting the passer but all other facets of this team are looking strong. And most of all, they are finally playing with tremendous emotion. Haslett might be Coach of the Year when this season is done!!
Some of the stuff he says fires me up just to hear it. I can only imagine how much the players love the guy. After the Skins game he said, "I am glad we won that game... because I would have been embarassed if we hadn't." Just the way he said it gave me goosebumps. St. Louis has high standards again. Dude is for real. GL. (NE still scares me at home but I want them to win this so bad I just can't bet against them)

totally agree with the comment pats no where near as good as final score indicated on monday nite -- which i believe will push this # up and give more value to rams later in the week

St Louis at 7.5 looks tasty, starting to click a little, still a tough place to play at Foxborough, but I will take over a touchdown anyday against a team that just blew their season wad on Monday night

If Hasselbeck plays, im not too sure...he might be back...SF has been turning the ball over way too much and their defense is terrible, theyre giving up over 30. Seattle also wants revenge and to split the season series. Im personally waiting for Hasselbecks status, he makes a huge difference here

Way off. First of all, you are putting your money on two of the 6 or 7 worst teams in the NFL. One of them is the favorite and needs to cover by almost a TD! and the other is playing in Fox borough against a team that just ran over the Broncos in Denver...sure the MNF score wasn't "indicative of their talent level" but the fact is they won convincingly on the road and now they are coming back home. And the scariest thing you should be afraid of is Cassel actually looked confident with his decisions and he moved the ball...he probably can continue to do so at home vs a sub-par west coast visitor in an early game.

Good luck, but i may fade both of these picks.

Who cares who qb's seattle? that team is brutal, and I am sure Seattle took both games last year, looks like a double revenge game here...Singeltary is in charge and puts the ball in Gore's hands and SF wins.

I apologize. I make mistakes from time to time because I get so frustrated when I see captians with 5000 posts back two of the worst teams in the NFL. I hope you respect my 9er knowledge when I say they will lose SU...their D sucks and their O cant make up for it end of story. And you will volunteer 5 points? I will say nothing more than you can find a better game out there than the 9ers -5.
As for the Rams, also a shitty and unpredictable team. They beat an overrated WAS squad who thought their shit don't stink in a classic look past this week's opponent type of performance (because they were coming off wins at the overrated Cowboys in Dallas and a westbrook with broken ribs) Classic let down loss...not an earned win by STL.
That brings me to their only other win... the rams did not win on Sunday, Dallas lost. They beat a QB-less Cowboy team thanks to 3 INT's and 2 fumbles. Big deal. If Romo contemplating coming back one week after breaking his finger wasn't a tip off of how bad Brad Johnson is, I dont know what is. So the rams really havent beaten anyone. The only deffense you may have is NE must cover the +7.5. But still, is this your best bet?
If you started this thread to give us something to talk about then fine. But if these are your two best picks after your research then something is wrong. Horrible picks especially if these are the only two your betting on.

Not siding with the picks but the first teams I try to lay money on, or atleast find a way too, are the shittiest of NFL teams. I actually like Detroit this week at home, and thats shitty. Linemakers won't let you make money on the good teams, they'll always adjust the line to make you lose in the long run.

enough of the BS shifting formation plays Martz has been trying to install, give the ball to the team's play maker and SF will roll in this one.
