I think it all comes down to coaching. Do you trust Nagy or Garrett?
Dallas vs Buffalo was a bad spot coming off a rain soaked loss in NE.
Dallas started out fine against Buffalo and scored a TD to Witten on their opening drive, but only managed 8 points the rest of the game
Elliott carried
the ball 12 times for 71 yards and caught seven of 10 targets for 66 yards in the loss to the Bills.
Here’s
the problem Buffalo is not that great against the run.
Elliott
had 56 yards on 8 carries in the 1st quarter but just 15 the rest of
the game. LET THAT SINK IN
He
didn't even record a carry over the final 24-plus minutes of the game.
If Dallas sticks to the game plan and runs the offense through Zeke tonight Dallas wins and covers. Chicago is not as potent against the run after losing Hicks.
I can't put $ on Turbisky, I must play the more talented team and hope the coaches don't screw it up.

Excellent points by OP. They're playing for a coach that's dead man walking. Jerry never shuts up, the only owner to have a radio show and never shuts up. When it goes bad (which obviously it has) why don't they just STFU? This is a bad spot for them, couldn't win at home in a game that big and now Chicago on the road. Chicago played well in second half v Detroit, hopefully that carries over as well. Let's start of Week 14 with a small dog at home, good chance to win the game. I wish it was colder but it looks like 35-40 little or no wind.
What do you call an Eternal Optimist? An accordion with a beeper!

What your analysis is missing is that the Bears are not a .500 team, despite their 6-6 record...The Bears record should actually be 3-9 and at best 4-8...so this is exactly the type of team that the Cowboys CAN actually beat...If the line accurately reflected this it would be Dallas -6 to -7...Living in Dallas, I can tell you that the results of the last few losses have taken their toll on Garrett...he is starting to break his choke hold on the offense in an attempt to try to tie Kellen Moore the OC to the future win/losses of the season to deflect his responsibility...Up to now, nobody has been blaming Moore, all the blame has gone to Garrett...most think he has been influencing Moore to keep his offensive philosophy as his guide to play calling...That is all done now...and he may really have unleashed Moore finally in this attempt to save his job...I don't think it will work...Garret has had 10 years to get over the hump and just can't do it...Ron Rivera got fired and he has had much better results with Garrett...I would kill to have had Rivera in Dallas the last 10 years...My current lean is that the Cowboys will win this game by less than 7 points...Best of luck...
