Week 4 is upon us and the parity in the league appears to be far greater than in recent years.
3 teams today stand at 0-3 and each has a pretty good shot to go 0-4.
Pitt should stand strong against Tampa but the -7 seems like a push to me as Pitt is not a team to turn it up against a foe. The money line seems to be the play here.
Oakland is just terrible but against a Miami team that is in complete disarray, it is hard to make a play on this one - especially given the long trip across the pond (although even longer for Oakland).
Which leads me to SD against the Jags. The Jags are another team which seemingly has given up on themselves - then again the whole franchise has been a disaster from the ownership down. SD at home is a great play today although I won't give more than 13 and historically don't like giving double digits to anyone but two teams going in opposite directions.
SD-13
Eagles Team Total O23
This is my favoritye play against a Niners team which is not nearly as fast on defense and has lost some key players. Not sure who wins the game as the Eagles are slow to start and the Niners have scored a measly 3 points in the second half all year.
Colts -7
Colts are coming off a big win and it is not typical for NFL teams to put up routs two weeks in a row (other than Broncos and old Pats). That being said, this is a team that is not afraid to run up the score and Andrew Luck still loves to press even when he is up by 2 TD's. The Colts D seems to be working better together and the Titans are still in rebuilding.
Other games I am watching:
Packers are getting a lot of positive press for this game given the history as well as the 1-2 start. Look for the Bears to come up big here at home.
Falcons are a team of one week on, one week off. This is a week 'off' however they are playing a Minn team that is without key players and a QB who is really inconsistent (as is Matt Ryan). Scares me that the Flacons had such a blowout win last week so this is one to watch but might be a hard cover.
Will be back for tonights game as I believe there is a great play!

2-1 but what a horrible loss with the Eagles not scoring a point after putting up 21 mid way through the second quarter. It happens but still a winning day and now 24-9 on covers plays.
My apologies for not putting Sunday nights play in.
Tonight is a better matchup than what it might look like on paper. You have a star QB in Brady who has little support from 'named' players with the exception of Gronk. The Pats are 11-3 on Monday night and 3-0 vs KC on Monday night but have not faired as well when away. The challenge is he is playing at a KC team where it is one of the loudest stadiums out there.
Neither team has shown their potential yet but KC has had a very hard time in the first quarter this year. While this is a home game and there are stats for home teams under the lights scoring first, I do like the Pats -1/2 in the first Qter +130
