2nd > Roughing the passer on Ryan ??? serious game change momentum.
3rd> Too many injuries, but no excuses but obvious it definitely hurts.
4th> NFL refs are still missing to many calls
5th> Every NFL game we see coaches sprinting on field to call timeouts ?*? but in Atlanta appaently its a penalty.
6th> 9 or 10 1st downs for the lucky birds because of penalty.
Last they barely escaped with the steal albeit I know they won but C'MON MAN just trying to make 6 statements to say enjoy A T L as this clearly was your lottery winner. I feel they got out very lucky here and NO not a SAINTS fan but just pointing out some of the obvious. Saints hopefully will get healthy when they meet in N.O but they lost to many players unfortunate for any team.
Also Thursday night Football should not be played, and if the greed of money the league still wants at the cost of injury to players schedule them on teams coming off the bye.

Yerppp ! Better team lost ,and you capped the wrong game too.
Had the under based on it dropping 4 points....but Atl def was not the better team....Saints had half the team get hurt and miss a bunch of plays, but without awful calls by the refs Atl isnt even in that game

Atlanta coach still dumber than a doorknob during pressure situations. blew the SB of course. this game? declines the holding penalty. saints make the FD with ease. could easily have lost the game. should have been in OT at very least. gets away with it because his player saved his bacon on poor decision by Brees. yeah, you can throw that ball if you're down 4 pts. but not by 3. hard to back the falcons with this coach. a good game plan for the most part and the play calling was solid despite Ryan's screw ups. but the coach chokes when the going gets tough.

The only satisfaction I will get is when I win sou la what I lost on Saints when they play again. Saints are the much better team. Not really close. 9 injuries and the refs CLEARLY helped Atlanta.

gotta cap what the league wants...not which team is actually better
I have to agree with other posters here the game was a absolute suckfest. The only right bet to take on this game which is usually the same every Thursday night's is the under. Had you bought the side line to 3.5 on the saints you made money as a matter of fact my book had the number at falcons -3. The first half of the game no one made money because the refs called back the field goal at the last minute of the game. I had an inkling of an idea that some funny business would happen on this game. Some people got a push and some lost the game if you were on the saints. The saints which was the better team on paper with stats and better win loss record got taken by Vegas. Anybody that says this game was not controlled by Vegas is terribly ignorant of how Vegas actually works. Also no I did not bet the game. I'm glad I did not. I feel confident that the saints comeback and win the next game in the series unless they want Atlanta in the playoffs. Atlanta has three more games if they lose just two of those games they have a 50% chance of getting in the playoffs. As of now Atlanta survives.
