Brees & company is 5-0 SU & ATS at home this season.............why do I feel like the Lions will go in there & win SU, because it can easily happen.
Saints beat the Colts 62-7 & the following week lost as -13 point favorites to the 0-6 Rams..............same thing happens this week..............Lions outright imo.............

Lions without Suh will be a completely different team on the D-LINE. Opponents OL usually double team Suh when they can as he is a monster. Without him they will play man up and the rest of that D-Line does not really have the strength or foot work to get pass the Saints tackles

I do think this game is going to be closer than people think. Stafford's practicing without a glove on for the first time in weeks. I expect quite a lot of offense in this one. And as good as Suh is, he's only one guy. The Lions have quite a lot of depth on defense. Don't forget how explosive the Lions offense can be. Winning by more than a TD is hard to do. I'm definitely leaning Lions as of now, and I think it's a hell of a lot more likely that the line gets bet down to 7 than up to 10.

as a lions fan, I will tell you our secondary is shredded right now, with houston and delmas probably out, the play will def be the saints, they will put up 45 plus on is without a doubt, now add atleast 7 pts our offense will give up on turnovers and this game will get ugly real fast for the the lions....
key points:
1.we lost our running game when we lost best and our revord shows it
2.we live and die with protection for stafford and with crips fast routes for our TE or deep ball for CJ, we have neither of these run now being crips as staffords hands are in gloves due to a finger injury.
3. Suh might play with his appeal but again, the key point is our secondary, it is in pieces right now and showing up to that dome againts brees without pass coverage is like showing up with a water pistol to a cannon fight.
GL but this game is the saints to lose as the lions do not have the ability to carry a w themselves this week.

Suh is definitely out - Best case scenerio is 1G suspension, which has to be this week. FS Delmas is out for sure - He was a very reliable safety valve for them. CB Houston got hurt and missed practice today. CB MacDonald came in for Houston and also got hurt. He missed practice today too.
No way I'd make play on Det unless I know how this pan out going up against Brees.
That loss to Stl on the road after the Indy blowout may help NO this time as I expect Payton to bring it up thru out the wk. Also, this is at home at nite on Nat TV as NBC flexed it. I do wish that NO wouldn't win so big as line is definitely inflated.
