Hey guys! Psyched for the weekend already. Getting this thread started to hear all the cappers opinions as we move through the week! Looking for any and all opinions!
To begin, im reading in here a narrative regarding the Ravens defense being too physical for Buffalo and I just don't see it!
On defense, the Ravens are not the 85 Bears. They have given up boatloads of points to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, KC, etc. The Bills offense has proven to be at least leaps and bounds better than two of three of those teams. The Bills dropped 27 on Indy, and 30 plus on the Rams, both top 10 defenses!
On offense, Lamar is a one trick pony. Buffalo's D is superior to a horrible Tennessee defense that Baltimore struggled to put 20 points up against. Lamar will struggle to hit through the air against this secondary. I'm sure Frazier and McDermott will have a plan for the ground game.
I expect a close game, but I just don't see the Ravens scoring enough to keep up with Buffalo.

Thanks for the response, but why? The Bills defense has been solid. Much better than the Titans. I'm assuming you like the run game of Baltimore against the Bills. Well, they handled Taylor, they even stopped King Henry even in a horrible loss, but Tannehill exposed their injury riddled secondary that game? How is Baltimore going to score enough?
The Bills reach 24 plus, which I think they will, I cant see Baltimore putting up 27, not if Lamar has to throw it.

Good points! To be fair, I think like 60 of those 165 came on 3 carries, 2 of which were when the Bills were ahead and playing a soft zone to guard ac24-10 lead late.

I can see Tre White completely removing Hollywood Brown from this game. That leaves Matt Milano and the safeties against Mark Andrews and the Ravens dynamic running game. The titans actually did a good job defending Lamar's designed run plays, but he got big rushing yards on the passing plays that broke down especially that long rushing TD. IF the Bills can copy the titans defense on the design run plays to Lamar and Dobbins, AND contain him when the passing plays break down (this is all easier said than done of course), I don't see the Ravens doing much scoring as the passing game will be non-existent for them in Buffalo. The Ravens should also stuff/contain the Bills running game and contain Josh Allen a bit, but I believe Allen will eventually hit Diggs Beasley Brown Davis down the field and make a few rushing plays himself. This does come down to the tougher team, and I think the Bills will be super tough at home after playing a very good/physical team in Indy and beating them while not playing their best game. I am heavily leaning the under in this game. Bills 20 Ravens 17
