I know NFL Week 1 lines usually come around before Summer starts and that's crazy that one linesmakers have put out lines for all 17 weeks of the regular season. Couldn't that just put the linesmaker in a bad spot with some potentially bad lines by releasing them early?Could there be some potential steals if they let you bet that far in advance like say in Week 9 or something?
What games interest you? Thoughts/impressions on any of them? Potential early plays? Early season trends?
Steelers vs Patriots -6
Packers vs Bears +4
Chiefs vs Texans -1.5
Brown's vs Jets -2
Colts vs Bills +2.5
Dolphins vs Redskins +2
Panthers vs Jaguars +4
Seahawks vs Rams +4
Saints vs Cardinals -2.5
Lions vs Chargers -2
Titans vs Bucs -3
These are William Hill lines so not sure if other books are the same...

I think Titans vs Bucs is an interesting shittfest of a game only because it stars the top 2 picks of the draft: Mariotta vs Winston and a Rose Bowl rematch of sorts. How the NFL set this up as a week 1 match like they knew it would be those 2 quarterbacks going head to head makes it curious. Generate more revenue for a game that no one would really care for. I see what you did there Mr. NFL Marketing genius

Betting the first couple of weeks is a total crap shoot. But that doesn't mean I won't bet them. lol
Green Bay -4… I'm a die hard Bears fan. I don't care what angle you attach to this game. I've been there a million times trying to convince myself they can beat Rodgers, and generally they can't even hang all that close. I admit a week one home game with a brand new coaching staff is scary, but I see no reason not to pound the Pack versus the Bears until they can prove otherwise.
Pats -6… Home team defending super bowl title generally comes out hot for the season opener.
Vikings +4… Vikings are a team you shouldn't sleep on this season, especially if Bridgewater takes another step forward. Their defense will be very stingy. Niners are in transition right now, and it could be a tough season.
San Diego -2… Detroit has been slightly better on the road in recent years, but still struggle. San Diego is the better team on paper, and should take care of the Lions at home. Ngata was a good pickup, but that defense will still see a drop off.
Houston -1.5 is tempting. Chiefs aren't as good on the road. I like the Texans a lot when healthy.
I've always been good with teases, so let's give this a shot.
Two team 6 points: Vikings +10, NE pick
Just having some fun… a lot of things still to come. Rosters are far from set.

Lean Bucs there. Bucs are a step closer than Tennessee. They have some talent on defense, along with a good defensive coach. Marriota will struggle more than Winston early on. He really would be best off sitting early in his career, IMO.
Winston also has more firepower to work with. Bucs really might not be bad this year at all if Jameis is solid, considering the poor state of the NFC South. But I suppose NO always looms. ATL has some big problems up front on both sides. Carolina just doesn't scare me enough offensively.

I would say the Jets -2 because if the rosters dont change so much the Browns wont have a proper no 1 receiver with TD potential plus the Jets will suffocate Manziel or McCown with Bowles' blitz technique who has the right players to do it (especially the Richardson-Wilkerson-Williams trio in front)

Nice. Was thinking the same thing. Super Bowl winners usually cover their week1 games. Can see Pats winning by a touchdown at least.
Packers vs Bears is a gimme too and are rebuilding.

The Browns will be the Browns again. No more Josh Gordon. No more Jordan Cameron. Their running attack is still good but don't think there is anyway they can penetrate Jets defensive front line. Like the Jets chances

Speaking of which.. I really don't know what to expect from the Saints. They have never been a good road team and lost Jimmy Graham.. I would expect nothing more than a Cardinals win. Bruce Arians has turned this team around and they have been nothing short of dominant at home last 2 seasons

saints +2.5 - i know cardinals made the playoffs and are on the upswing and the saints are reeling from the jimmy graham trade. what could possibly go wrong here?
deadskins +2 - its still the deadskins, but line is fishy. lol
falcons +1 - league is on to chip kelly, matt ryan is still the best qb in this game
browns +2 - jets full of sound and fury in the offseason, again signifying (very possibly) nothing again this season

Uh oh better hold off on that teaser. Imagine Brady getting suspended for week 1 over the latest Deflategate report.
Yup… here we go again with all of this. It will be interesting to see how NFL handles this. Especially considering the Pats are repeat offenders with this type of thing.

Totally agree
But I don't know which running attack do you mean as the Browns had the 4th-worst last season.
They also lost an important piece from their good passing defense - Buster Skrine.

Who is gonna prevent Big Ben and company from scoring ? They had the best total offense in 2014.
Yep! Totally agree. No more Revis and Browner. They still have some playmakers on the DB side but no more shutdown corners. We'll see Big Ben throwing bombs all over to Brown and Wheaton and pound it with Bell. The question mark for the Steelers is on the defensive side. Kind of like the Over.

Yeah they had some semblance of a power running game with a makeshift lineup of Crowell, Terrance West and Ben Tate earlier in the season when they were winning game but chose to abandon it later. Oh yea I remember now reason was because they lost their best lineman in Mack to IR. That's when it all went downhill for the Brownies lol

Same thoughts here. Some "experts" don't like Sammie Coates, but he played under a QB at Auburn who wants to be a CB now. He will look solid at Pittsburgh IMO. In addition, Le'Veon Bell was one of the better receivers in the league in 2014. I'm excited about that offense.

Hey DoubleUp4Life. With the questionable Bills QB situation and Rex Ryan focusing on ground and pound, we should be cautious with the Bills early in the season.

Will be an interesting game that's for sure. Bills are tough at home, but this Colts team looks deep this year and hard to bet against Andrew Luck. Will be interesting to see how Colts respond in hostile environments. when was the last time Bills won a season opener?
