Had another thread decided to scrap it. Getting a little long. Had a terrific year last year in the NFL. If you all remember I did very well. I'm really making an attempt to keep track of my record this season. Anyways the season will be here very soon. It's already started, but to me it hasn't started until Sunday. I'm very excited, I don't think I've been this excited for a season ever. I do have a play on Kansas City for Monday night already locked in @ 5.5, will post the units with the play on Monday. Will make a play on the other Monday night game as well. So here's the goods for Sunday. All plays locked in. As always Good luck everyone!
Cincinnati +4.5 (8) Detroit/Chicago Over 43 (5) Seattle +3 (3) Tennessee -6.5 (1) Pittsburgh +1.5 (1) St Louis +3.5 (1)

i like the over play Whodey....not sure on the pitt play and seattle play. I like over the total in cincy/ ne more than cincy but think youl at least cover with the 4.5
Best of luck buddy
Love the KC play that might be the best upset of the week. Imo Kc gives them some trouble in the air with rookie McCluster being a special surprise and some jamal charles running just enough to make play action a factor. Chargers will have trouble trying to get deep without vincent jackson. ( i hope anyway) maybe im being a homer but I see KC winning outright in this one! lots of new factors this year in KC. Not saying there gonna make a playoff run but they beat SD week !.

Only problem I have is with Pittsburgh and Tennessee...........Pittsburgh is playing with a bum QB, and I cant bet a team that will rely on nothing but defense to win. Scrambling QB with no brain......Matt Ryan is a beast and geting nothing but better......
Tennessee is laying too many points.....Oakland has a fine defense and as long as they guard against the Young scrambling I think they will do a great job. And watch out for the Oakland running game........They will do good against the young Titan defense.....

just some thoughts.......
The 'public' perception is that now that Big Ben is out, the Steelers have zero chance. The Steelers have some talent in the running back position this year: Mendenhall, Dwyer, Redman, Moore and Dixon.
With the porous Steeler o line Dixon's scrambling ability will be a plus.
Also, in the only start of Dixon's life last year, on the road in Baltimore, he rushed for a td and threw for a td. Sure, he threw a pick in OT that cost them the game but he looked very good in his debut without having taken any snaps that week with the first team.
So how many points do you think the Falcons O will score against that top notch Steeler d that is healthy once again?
I am going big on the steelers but wish you luck on your other picks.
Bobby Fisher, I was half hoping that you had fathered Jinky in the Philippines. It would have been another feather in your storied career.

I am not buying all this mumbo jumbo, the Steelers sucks without Big Ben. Their defense are not as sharp as they used to be, they don't put fear in their opponents anymore. Dixon is an awful QB, dude can't even hit a receiver in a cross route. He makes Kordell Stewart looked like Randall Cunningham.
As much as ppl love the Cowboys, there are the same amount of ppl who loves the Steelers.
I would not put a dime on the Steelers as long as Dixon is their QB and anyone who does and based their pick on "public perception" is capping this game wrong. Just my opinion.

I actually had a thread with some bold predictions earlier in the preseason. I predicted the Chiefs to actually make the playoffs. I think the running game gets going for the Chiefs. I like the combination of Thomas Jones and Charles. I think you have a decent receiving corp. I like the combo of Bowe and Chambers. Some good veterans. Weird to call Bowe a veteran, but he's always been a very efficient guy. It's funny, I knew people wouldn't like my card much this week, but I absolutely love it. I have no doubts about going 6-0 Sunday.

What running game for Oakland? Your going to say they are going to have a good running game with Darren McFadden? Michael Bush isn't going to play this weekend. He practiced but they aren't going to rush him out there with that broken thumb.
Something to watch for in the Oakland/Tennessee game.
Starting MLB Rolando McClain, love the guy really think he is going to have a solid year. Just not a good game this game. I think they are going to run the ball right at him and run misdirections and confuse McClain. I think the Raiders are much improved I really do, I just think they struggle in this game. I really think the Titans will come out firing on all cylinders.

Best Bet Cincinnati . New England offense predictable. Defense porous.
Well I started to think about it and I think the Bengals are better @ every single postion but 2. That would be QB-but that's not much of a drop off and TE- Just more depth for NE there. I think eventually Gresham will be the best out of any going to be on the field but he hasn't proved anything. Our running backs are better, receivers are close but we are 4 deep. Offensive line without Mankins gives us the advantage. No Ty Warren on the DL gives us the advantage. I'll take our LB's all day and our secondary is 10x better. Coaching obviously goes to NE. I don't think anyone is scared of the Patriots anymore. The Bengals will win this game...I guarantee it.
