Kicker- big red flag IMO. Folk blames injury on last year's fuckjobs, I don't buy it. He's just not clutch, and when you play Smash-mouth football and find yourself in close games, you can't afford to have an inconsistent kicker.
OLB/DE – Possible we draft one in the draft. Would be great if Graham were available for 29th pick but doubt it. Possible Jason Taylor comes still (hope not) Still, there are a LOT of great DE's in this draft, and I think thats what we're going to end up using our 1st round pick on. CB- Possible we draft one high if theyre still available after philly and MIA yanks them all… could use a versatile guy who could play for Westhoff’s ST Unit also. McCourty would be great, but we ain’t getting him.
CB's always are at a premium in the Draft and usually get drafted early though.
Left/Right Guard to replace Faneca, Moore. We have a lot of age at that position on both sides. Moore has been here since dinosaurs roamed the earth, not sure how much more he has in the tank.
Veteran QB- Strong possibility, need a vet to back-up Sanchez. Clemens is not a back-up, he doesn't have the snaps or experience and he's never proven himself. Mark Brunell is a possibility but he's old as fuck. Would prefer the 34-year-old Bulger, but he just had his first kid and is supposedly strongly considering retirement.

All of these headline grabbing signings. Guess what it will amount to? Nothing. They simply WILL NOT win the division. New England is still the class of the AFC East

Because his deuchebag agent, Alvin Keels, reminds him every day that he's too talented to be splitting carries with two other backs... and essentially an RB3/3rd down back.
His rehab has supposedly been coming along well and there are a couple of teams interested in him. I believe when he signs his tender he will be moved shortly after. But this is just speculation.
Also, there is a rumor that Leon was verbally included in the Santonio trade (he couldnt be included because hasnt signed his tender), so you may see the Jets trade Leon for a throwaway draft pick or something very cheap. Maybe this isnt true, but Pitt is shopping for a RB, it could have some merit.

I agree the Pats are still the team to beat in the AFC East but to say the Jets don't even have a chance to unseat them is idiotic.

I'm gettign tired of waiting, its normally out by now I thought, I really think an opening Monday Nigher of New England at the Jets or Miami at the Jets would be great TV

We agree on something
I'm thinking it's going to be Fins/Jets now... with Brandon Marshall vs Revis the showcased matchup.
Schedule to be released on 4/20 -- just announced!

Another week? ugh, this is starting to be a pain in the ass, I'm trying to plan a trip to Dallas this year. They've probably had the schedule done for month but started changing things with the trades of Holmes, Marshall & McNabb

and they will, on the Thursday Night, NFL has already announced that the Giants will open the new stadium at 1pm Sunday and the Jets will kick off in it on Monday Night

Yeah and Adam Schefter reported theyre very close to a deal also.
Glad you and the other thick-skinned Jets fans will be happy.
He definitely fills a need we have, but I hate that motherfucker and I hope it doesnt cause drama in the locker room. We dont need that shit.
I'll be the first to admit I was wrong if he does come and is a shit stirrer.
I love the footage of him literally crying on the sidelines after the Monday Night Miracle. This after him or Fiedler saying, "They ain't coming back on us."

jets have had best, most productive off-season so far. rank: #1 in AFC east ...but #3 in AFC...JETS are super nice-ing it..as far as the future, setting themselves up to be a better team than my ravens...ravens are not getting young, boldin sign is nice but that D has to get younger.

I like the part where you say "But this is just speculation".... like anyone in a forum has any "real" information!
That being said I think you're spot on with Leon going during the draft. He won't want to split carries that much, and the Jets won't ask him to.
You're the only one I've heard say this and I think come draft day you'l be right.
