The STAR SPANGLED BANNER! Got it! It is one nation anthem for ONE NATION UNDER GOD! Now if u don’t like it:
LEAVE! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
A prime example of the NFL politicizing itself and dividing the nation. Leads to racial division and disunity.
A lot of men of all races served, died, and were crippled defending our country. Why can't we honor them all with one anthem? How many other countries have two or more anthems?

Firstly the song was dubbed 'the black national anthem' in 1919 by the NAACP and if you google it, it is referenced as the black national anthem. Everyone knows that to be the case, but you apparently.
I have no issue with the song or its sentiments. Not a bad song itself, but this is not a musical concert, it is a football game. It is not a political protest, it is a football game. It is not a societal re-education camp, it is a football game.
I know how much joy it must give you to flip the middle finger out there to 'da man' but this is a football game. It is symbolic of the 'tower of babel' discord that is being sown by the globalist/corporate elite whose aim is our destruction.
Instead of unifying against those who truly oppress us all, we are kept at each others' throats, sad that you don't see this either.

On May 31, 1916, Roosevelt addressed the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization, on what he called “the subject of Americanism.” I have selected excerpts below:
I stand for straight Americanism unconditioned and unqualified, and I stand against every form of hyphenated Americanism. I speak and condemn its use whenever it represents an effort to form political parties along racial lines or to bring pressure to bear on parties and politicians, not for American purposes, but in the interest of some group of voters of a certain national origin, or of the country from which they or their fathers came.
We represent many different race strains. Our ancestors came from many different Old World nationalities. It will spell ruin to this nation if these nationalities remain separated from one another instead of being assimilated to the new and larger American life.
The children and our children’s children of all of us have to live here in this land together. Our children’s children will intermarry, one another, your children’s children, friends, and mine. Even if they wished, they could not remain citizens of foreign countries….The effort to keep our citizenship divided against itself by the use of the hyphen and along the lines of national origin is certain to breed a spirit of bitterness and prejudice and dislike between great bodies of our citizens.
Teddy Roosevelt was my favorite president and he was concerned about this issue over 100 years ago and how disunity and division could be used for political gain which is what is happening.

I'm about to give you the straight dope from a black kid who grew up singing that shit. It was always referred to as "the black national anthem" in a kind of tongue in cheek way. It was never intended as a replacement for the actual national anthem. It has only been recently that uppity, liberal arts university educated black people and their white liberal counterparts rediscovered this song and started treating it as an actual national anthem for black people. You know what you won't hear uttered once in that song? And mention of race. That song can be implied to all people. And in Sunday's telecast, they were smart to not even refer to it as a National Anthem. They simply referred to it by it's actual title. So why are you so triggered by a song being sung?

Viewers in the crowd or at home watching should not be held hostage for social justice messages. Football is front and center and should not be used as a soap box for angry race baiters.

We now sing God Bless America at Football games. It is not out National Anthem. We now sing it. Very rece t trend. And it's the exact same kind of political theatre you speak of. So what though. It's just a song. All of it is political theatre. All of it is divisiveness. You just only acknowledge one side.
Ponder this. Tbe National anthem used to only be televised during conference championships and the Super Bowl. Then Kap started kneeling. The whole act became a political football. Networks started televising it for regular season games just to see who, if anybody, would kneel just to trigger boomers. Mike Pence,in his first year as VP, once flew to Indianapolis (his home state), on Air Force 1 mind you, when they were hosting the Niners simply to wait for Kap to kneel just to be like, "I don’t approve." Just for a political ploy. He dipped right after. Didn't watch a drive. All of this stuff is theatrics designed to incite and divide people. Ponder this. There are close to 1,800 players including practice squads. Minimum of 1,500 dressed on any given Sunday, and something like 70% of them black. Yet only a handful ever kneeled. Over 1,000 black players stand for the anthem, 10 kneel. The 10 get the media attention. Why is that? To trigger sad old fukks.

My point is that while singing Lift Every Voice... at games, and televising it, may be cheesy. And it certainly is a ploy, so what. Everything in media is a political ploy these days. It's just a song. An inspirational song that mentions Heaven, and liberty. And fighting on until victory is won. And not once does it mention race. Again, I literally grew up singing it in school. And like I said, we referred to it as "the Black National Anthem" as a nickname. We still sung the actual National Anthem. We still pledged allegiance at the start of every day, with one student leading over the school PA. This was in the hood, mind you.

I agree with a lot of what you shared there. Yep, in order to divide us instead of uniting us.
This coming election year is going to be a zoo and we have traitors among us with big wallets who will fund all manner of protest and rioting. Paid protests, not by citizens who honestly felt betrayed by the ruling class in one way or another, but political action in the streets meant to divide and destroy.

What you're not seeing is it comes from both sides. You see one side of it. You are part of the problem and not the solution. Do you want to be part of the solution? Here is how you start. Don't be triggered by a song.

Maybe just maybe it is time to change the playing of the NA to something new ... Not one that glorifies " the bombs bursting in the air".. From a country the USA that has dropped 34 bombs PER DAY on the average for the last TWENTY YEARS.. All in the name of peace keeping.. The NA wrote in 1814.. Time to look forward not backwards.. Figuring in different time zones and different locations throughout the world it is estimated the USA has a bullet in the air 24/7... Enough is enough.. How about.. Wish you were here.. Pink Floyd.. enough war songs..

Stu maybe I am just ignorant but what is the problem? I sang along with the star spangled banner as it was performed. That isn't what was sung if so damn I didn't notice. It has to be a very subtle difference between the so called national anthem and "black" national anthem. Crazy shit.

Alright I googled it and okay I see what you all are saying. I guess I didn't even notice it with America the Beautiful sang by Post Malone, the Star Spangled Banner, etc, etc, etc. Sounded good to me. Carry on with the argument if you all want. BOL!

People don't realize that we are pretty much wholesale drone bombing the entire world at every moment of the day but f*ck it though. I rep these colors good and bad. Now if we could just start bombing China instead of picking on goat herders.

I do like being sarcastic every now and then but I gotta say for real amen brother there is only one anthem that I will ever know and care about

Go watch the telecast again. They don't even refer to it as the black national anthem. They literally called it by it's proper song title. The networks are starting to come around to the "Go woke, go broke" concept.
