That was the question and conclusion made by Bob Papa and Charlie Weiss this morning on talk radio. They make fair points that I haven't honestly considered. Their points were in essence: (1) that Andy Reid in Philly (especially early on in Philly) isn't the same Andy Reid you see today. He lost a lot of big games. Made tons of tactical mistakes. But bottom line is he always had his team ready and they usually did well. (2) KS is only 44 years old. Has a lot of football left. (3) He is a lot more balanced offensive mind than the offensive coordinator you saw in Atlanta. (4) He will learn from his mistakes and get better. Eventually will get over the hump and once he does everything will click. Don't give up on him by any means he has the right make up to be a generational/HOF coach.
I can see their points. So bottom line is if they are right then the future is very very bright for the 9ers despite the last two Superbowl outcomes or last years NFC Championship game. Of course if they are wrong KS is cursed and a natural born loser and will never win a single thing, choke over and over and over again both in his offensive coordinator role and that of head coach.
Worth a discussion if anyone wants to jump in.
