Then go on to realize that the New York Times recently admitted that it -- and virtually every major media outlet -- allows the government to censor its work.

Its not fixed. The refs just really suck. I won with the Eagles ML and after watching the highlights they clearly screwed up on a no call. Watch the WR Jeffrey step outside the back of the end zone to come back in for a TD catch. The ref is right in front of him. I dont know how he missed it but i do feel inclined to send him a christmas gift. lol

Many conspiracies are just that, conspiracies. But to dismiss them by simply thinking "it can't be" isn't a good argument. I use to love the NFL but a few years ago i started catching on to all of the BS. It has gradually gone downhill and it all has to do with money. The league is indeed crooked. It's not the players, it's the big whigs and refs. Just watch any game that Corrente, Sterratore, or Morelli officiate and there will always be controversy. Why is it these guys, the worst of all of the refs in the league, get the primetime games and playoff games. Theres a big difference between missing a call and blatantly screwing one team over another. Examples are Texans Raiders game in Mexico City, Corrente's jobbing of the Jets against Pats this year, and the "Fail Mary" play a few years ago. TV deals and shared revenue have ruined the game. The League wants money. It should be no shock that the NFL cares more about money than the integrity of the game. When you can understand that concept, maybe then you can dig deeper into it and learn a thing or two about how a league such as the NFL CAN pull strings. It has all become so blatant these days that I dont understand how any avid fan of the game can NOT see the sketchy stuff in front of their eyes. Donaghy's scandal in the NBA is enough to refute someone that says games cant be fixed in a league so large and watched by so many. FIFA, largest sport in the world, has so many known cases of match fixing. How come the NFL can't do the same? Again, it isn't the players. It's the League that is manipulating the games. It may not be every game and/or every play, but it is clear that they do have theor hand in things. Look up Brian Tuohy and read his book on the matter. It will give you clear-cut evidence that would make you think otherwise.

And for the record..if you do believe a person like Goodell or any of the teams' owners would choose integrity in their game over millions of extra dollars, you are a fool.
