Not sure if this means much, but I was thinking about some different angles for this week and considered how teams do after they play a physical team such as BALT, PIT, NYJ. Here's what I came up with:
The game after playing the NYJ, teams are 3-7 and of those three wins, two were by MIN & GB against a sad, sad DAL team and HOU beat a Rusty-lead TEN team.
The game after playing PIT, teams, oddly enough, are 9-1.
BAL had no trends and none of the other top defenses had similar trends.
So I considered teams playing The Champion Saints...
The game after playing NO, teams went 2-8 and no dogs covered the spread. Perhaps for some teams this was their Super Bowl?
All of this takes SU & ATS into account.
Given these numbers, it would appear there are strong plays on New Orleans ATS, Buffalo ML, & Indy ATS.
Then again this could all mean squat, but it was interesting.

I like opposite all 3 of those picked. The team playing after the week they played the Steelers have 2 losses ATS & it seems those two losses came past 2 weeks, so that trend fell apart.
