GucciCapper has been listening to 42 Dugg all weekend. Don't worry, it's not a suckers bet in 2020 to lay points on the road with a team that always disappoints. Lets Get Get Get it!!!
GucciCapper is going to keep this write up a bit shorter than usual as GucciCapper dislocated GucciCapper's right index finger last night celebrating GucciCapper's buddy's 50th birthday. It's a bit painful to type and GucciCapper's words per minute speed is not quite up to par with the injury but GucciCapper wanted to give GucciCapper's cover brothers a winner. Guys, GucciCapper has been listening to 42 Dugg all weekend. GucciCapper recommends queuing up Lil Baby and 42 Dugg "Grace" before and after this game. Not only are we going to lay 3 points with a terrible team on the road, but we are going to do it quite confidently. Here's why GucciCapper recommends taking the Lions today.
1) The Lions are better than their record - Yes, the Lions are 1-3 but lets dig a bit deeper into who they played and what has transpired over these 4 games.
Week 1: Lions blow a 23-6 4th quarter lead to the Bears. Their stud rookie WR also dropped a game ending touchdown. Loss.
Week 2: Lions jump out to a 14-3 1st quarter lead on the road to the Packers. Get blown out. Loss.
Week 3: Lions trail 23-20 on the road in Arizona going into the 4th quarter. Hit two field goals. Win.
Week 4: Lions jump out to a 14-0 lead to the Saints. Then give up 35 straight. Fight back but can't get their offense on the field for a game winning drive. Loss.
See guys, these Lions have not only had a very tough schedule but they have been in every game for the most part. These guys are coming off their bye and are ready to get back on the winning side. GucciCapper expects Stafford to light up this Jags defense that is badly beaten up.
2) Field Goal Kicking - The Lions have one of the best kickers in the league in Matt Prater. On the opposite side, the Jags are on their 5th kicker of the season. These Jaguars have had tons of issues in the special teams department and GucciCapper expects horrendous kicking to continue. We are only laying 3 here, so GucciCapper expects a few missed field goals for the Jags which will ultimately give the Lions the cover.
3) Injuries Galore - The Jags are injured up and down on both sides of the ball. On top of that, GucciCapper is not a big believer in Minshew Mania. Even if these guys end up suiting up, GucciCapper knows that they won't be 100 percent. Expect a rested Lions team to be ready for this game today.
4) Laying 3 on the road - GucciCapper would NEVER EVER lay 3 points on the road with a team that is notorious losers. But 2020 is here and GucciCapper has watched enough NFL to see that playing on the road is not like it used to be. GucciCapper is not going to overthink this one. This reminds GucciCapper exactly like GucciCapper's Cardinals -7 play against the Jets last week. It looked suckers, it looked way too easy and it worked hella easily. Don't overthink this one. The Lions are the better team and they should be fired up out of their bye. Next up is Matty Ice for these boys, so GucciCapper knows that the Lions can't afford to lose this game.
