reports out of the chiefs camp say their 1st offense has been unable to move the ball on their 1st defense....and the backups as you saw last week suck. good sign
CAROLINA PANTHERS +6
miami won a shitfest last week in atlanta (both teams had like 3 t.o.s) but their offense didnt do much... less then 200 yards passing and 27 carries for like 64 yards. they dont have the qb's to be laying this much imo.
ATLANTA FALCONS +3
jacksonville seems pretty bad right now and atlanta coming off a sloppy game. seeing mallet look pretty confused at times last night tells me this jacksonville d in the 2nd half is a joke.

Glad to see you on the Ravens. What do you think about the Redskins tonight?
i might play them too. im trying to see their qb rotation. i know beck is starting, does anyone know if grossman is coming in after that and for how long? all ive read is beck is starting.

I'm on the Skins and have capped the...Rex should see limited time after Beck plays a whole half.....should be fun to watch....Becks a solid player and should play a hell of game and will flourish under HC mike Shan:
1. John Beck’s first chance. Ol’ No. 12 sat out last week’s preseason opener because of groin injury but now gets his first legitimate chance to win the starting quarterback position. He’s expected to play a half and, frankly, who knows what to expect? The guy just hasn’t played that much football in the last three years and you can only gain so much knowledge about a guy from practice. Rex Grossman set the bar against the Steelers.
“In the NFL, there’s pressure every game – preseason, regular season and maybe the playoffs are a little different,” Beck said. “I know I’m not going to get to play the whole game, but I want to do the best I can in that portion of time I do play.”

Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is "likely" to miss tonight's preseason game against Kansas City, a team official said.
Lewis has been gone from the team for two days so he could deal with a
serious family medical issue. According to a tweet by teammate Brendon
Ayanbadejo, Lewis' aunt is dealing with an illness.
Lewis had been scheduled to play one quarter in the Ravens' second preseason game of the year.
