Hey Granite, I dont know why people are saying great post to you. Your later posts here show that you are a kid still wet behind the ears.I know quite a few people going tonight and we all will be there to get behind this JETS team. The under is the choice as I said earlier, the Jets have to take the air out of the ball to keep it close. What the fuck would you know about pride ?

Since alot of people are getting hung up on arbitrary angles and like to ignore the obvious match-up facts (nice writeup GSK), here is one angle for you.
Rex Ryan came to Jets in 2009. Since 2009, Jets, in a SU loss as a dog are 0-11-1 ATS with an avg loss of 16.7 pts.
How about that, the question is, can they win SU ?

Calm down bro... no need to call me an asshole for having an opinion. Just saying that based on every jets game I've seen, and jets games i've been to, and jets fan I know, tonight is a nightmare matchup on the field and in the stands. I'm not going to convince you to change your mind, but this is very very dangerous for the long term success of our franchise. If the jets fall behind they simply don't have the tools to catch up today. Sanchez will die out there and metlife will let him hear it. You can honestly sit there and tell me that if the jets are down 14-0 early in the second and Green runs for 2 yards on 2nd and 10 you aren't going to hear boo's like crazy?

here is some reasoning ass hole On the surface, this looks like an easy Texans blowout. New York is
in a shambles coming off a 34-0 home loss to San Francisco. The Jets
have beaten two mediocre teams in Buffalo and Miami, but they have lost
by a combined score of 61-10 to the two good teams on their schedule
(San Francisco and Pittsburgh). But, in the NFL, often what looks too
good to be true is just that.
"This is a long road trip for Houston to the Northeast, and an indoor
team will be playing outdoors at night at MetLife Stadium, where it
will be rainy and cool. The Texans have two important games on deck,
measuring sticks against the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens
(both at home), so this could be a look-ahead spot. This is also the
third road game in four weeks for Houston and it will be facing a
fired-up and angry home team. Regardless what you think of the Jets,
these are professional athletes and after a beatdown like they took last
week, you can bet that the Jets will bring it all on Monday night. They
will have a chip on their shoulder and something to prove to a national
audience.
"All the focus has been on what the Jets
have lost in Holmes and Revis and that's reflected in this betting
line, but when stars go down, the players can rally in big-game spots
like this. New York's defense has looked really bad this season, but
keep in mind that under Gary Kubiak, the Texans are 1-10 ATS versus
teams that allow 27-plus points per game. The Jets have been an
excellent bounce-back team under Rex Ryan, going 11-5 ATS in their last
16 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous
game.
"Underdogs that got trounced (lost by more than 30 points) the week
prior have hit 61 percent against the spread since 1990. And, under Gary
Kubiak, the Texans are just 11-21 ATS in road games following a game at
home. Take the Jets and the points." ESPN

I am not sure which direction I am at on this game, but one thing I do know is that since Wade Phillips has been in Houston, when Matt Schaub is healthy, the Texans cover. Long term trends on Kubiak and the Texans from back 4 years ago have no relevance here.
The Texans are not a flashy team, but tonight is a match up nightmare for the Jets - the wildcard is Tebow - no, he is not a good player. But that read option is not easy to defend, which makes more than a TD hard to cover.

Wecome to the winners circle. You have this one pegged to the tee.....GREAT JOB. This is Monday night, closest thing to Playoff football. Houston on stage in NY against an inferior team that only hopes to remain competitive tonight and not get embarresed.
Ryan acquired the first 2 teams he took to the playoffs only sig adds were Sanchez and Scott who were surrounded by prior regimes players. This is his team and tonight the curtain comes down on him. He is exposed as a old school Tuna deciple, which does not work unless like you say you have a top 3 defense, even then I would argue against.
He will see tonight from the NY fans how it feels when you get blown out then start turning the ball over and losing the next game. He reecived his Mulligan last week. I agree crowd turns no later then 3Q or maybe he hears the Tebow chant and pulls Sanchez, yeah with the Jet's D w/o Revis and Shaub playing lights out......game over.
Take a look at my thread for a couple of good percentage props.

great stat, basically says jets will win or they lose and lose BIG.

Agree with your read GSK and GL! I think it is funny how folks always look at trends and use those to support a conclusion when those trends are related to ONLY the team name but not the same players. The Jets haven't had to deal with the Tebow factor AND a severe injury bug all at once, ever. Dirty Sanchez lacks confidence, it is a killer. And the team is not a team, does not play like a team, hell there are probably very few players that even like each other, that too is a killer. The Texans might not come to this game as hungry but the Jets will lose interest once they get down by 10 or so as you have said. If the Jets catch a lead, it won't last long they just do not have the weapons to get a big lead, nor maintain a lead, nor come back from any meaningful deficit. GL tonight!!

Made a killing when the Niners blew out the Jets! And I expect the same tonight (unfortunately for NYJ Fans). I don't think they can match up against Houston on all fronts and there is no need to over analyze this game. They are all professionals and there are no "locks" but HOUSTON is THE PLAY TONIGHT or NO PLAY!!! BOL TO ALL!

Then just bet 245 on the Texans next time, don't risk more to win less in separate bets. I like your write up but you will never be successful with your gambling style. Take this as constructive criticism and not be being a typical dick on this site. For the record I think this is a 6 point game.
The game landed one the worst number possible for you. Keep your head up and be smarter about the WAY you bet,not so much who you bet. Meaning we all have opinions on games and see different angles, but the only way to make money or even survive is to bet properly. GL
