Don't get me wrong...I'm not one to just fade the public to push against the grain. Its just that when you consider tonight's matchup, there's no logic to say that Tennessee is a good play. They have a rookie qb facing the rookie killer, going up against a superbowl winning qb and coach. Every person in this forum is loving the Steelers tonight and they have good reason to...BUT when you read all the write-ups, you cant help but notice this tunnel vision that everyone is stuck with. Reading anyone's write up backing the Steelers is like reading every game preview found online. People are reading the same thing over and over and its starting to conform in their thinking and they cannot get out of it, especially when they were unconsciously leaning one side from the start. Tunnel vision kills.
There's no solid write up on TN, and that is why this is the perfect spot to take a play simply to fade the public.
If you're a diehard fan of either team, than you can admit that both teams play each-other strong, and that regardless in the end it is always close. You can also admit that in the NFL stranger things have occurred. I recall a few years ago Atl was playing Bortle's Jags as 10 point favs. At the time, there was no way you could think your way into taking the Jags....End result Jags won the game SU, primetime game as well. Every case is different, and this one as well might be one you tell yourself later you over thought, but maybe, and hopefully maybe, this is one you tell yourself you didn't fall for.
Taking the Giants 2 weeks ago as 3 point dogs against the Colts was a similar play to this but different in many aspects. For one, you were backing Manning who as tumultuous as he has been has had moments to shine. They were also coming off the bye so there were some Giants backers creeping around. This is backing Mett, who we can all agree gives us less confidence than Eli, even less reason to choose. Overwhelming consensus will be on PITT across the board, and as bad as some may argue this method is, tonight is the right day to pull it off.
FADE THE PUBLIC
I believe TN will start off strong and fast. Part of the reason why I'm hesitant to take the under 23.5 first half.
Tennessee +7 3U
Tennessee +4 1half 3U
Tennessee ML 1U
Seriously, BOL to whatever you do. Today is Monday, lets get this!

I just saw them dismantle Carolina in prime time a few weeks back and then do the same to Indy and Baltimore right after that. I'm not tunneling anything brah, I'm just seeing. PS. I kept my write up short on purpose. GL

Its all good, thanks for your response, much appreciated. I do caution that when Pitt took care of Indy it was similar to this situation where everyone was taking Indy. Same can be said of Baltimore game but less so. GL

I thought the pick 6 would kill my first half play. As the 2nd quarter went on I kept thinking there is an outside shot for under 23.5. When faced with losing both first half plays, I finally get the perfect play to give it back to me. F yea!!!!!!
And then of course as I type this Washington goes for 80 yards. FML!
