Arizona -6.5 Vs Carolina: I like Arizonas upgrade at QB with Kolb, the potential emergence of Beanie Wells and their upgrades on defense. Carolina to me, is still a team in disarray. If they're smart, they'll run the ball 75%+ of the time, with heavy doses of DWill n JStew... But 3rd n longs are bound to happen and I really just cannot see Cam doing anything with his minute knowledge of the NFL level. Kolb prolly won't be a superstar but he can start in this league and I look for this game to come down to the team who can keep drives alive and convert 3rd downs. For me, Arizona is A LOT closer to "Winning Now" than Carolina. (Laying 2 Units)
Washington +3 Vs NYG The Skins have looked much improved this preseason and the Giants are plagued by injuries this far. I'm not 100% sold on the Skins thisyr but their 3-4 defense looks to finally be coming into shape and Hightower appears to really be gelling with Shanahans 1-cut, zone blocking scheme. I think the Giants will continue to be plagued by turnovers and the Skins will hopefully capitalize on these opportunities. I dunno why but I think the Skins jump ahead of the NYGs in the NFC East Standings, beginning with this game. PS. Take this with a grain of salt bc I always seem to miss-cap the Giants, lol, I don't know why though... (Laying 1 Unit)
Detroit +1 @ TB TB was much improved this past season and I could see the Lions making a similar leap this season. Stafford will determine how much this team improves... if he's healthy, they'll be very competitive. Detroits front 4 can create pressure alone and I believe Blount and the running game will be slowed down enough to hurt Freemans playaction passes. I look for Detroits D to create turnovers and capitalize on them. (Laying 1.5 Units)
Recap: Az -6.5 (2u) Skins +3 (1u) Detroit +1 (1.5u)
Best of Luck to Everyone !!!!
Let's start off this season with a BANG!!!
I was Lea ing towards StL and I think they'll be much improved, but they'll need their Passing Game to be in full effect and the Eagles Secondary is good enough to slow down Bradford enough. I like StL to be in this one, but the Eagles will score often and snub the Rams passing game. I wanna pull the trigger on StLouis but i see the Eagles winning this one by 7.... My other leans aren't really strong enough to mention... Though i do like the Cle/Cin Over but I haven't pulled the trigger on either of these leans...
PS. I'll be at the Jets Game all day tail gating so I may or may not add plays... Hopefully I'll be way too hammered to add plays!

Lets see, a rookie QB on the road, jeez I think I would take ARZ also, wait a second I did. Have fun at the tailgating party. Good Luck with your picks.

Adding: Houston -9 Vs Indy The potential struggles of Indys Offense without Peyton Manning have been well documented. Kerry Collins just simply isn't ready to run this Offense, and this offense isn't ready to lean on their running game. Their offense will be vanilla and Houston should be able to score. If Arian were playing, this would be my Bet of the Week, as he would torch Indys rush D, but Houstons backup RBs should be able to get the job done. Houston just simply has way too many weapons and I'd be shocked if Indy scored more than 21 PTs (stranger things have happened though, lol). Schaub n Co get it done, while Kerry n Co struggle mightly... (Laying 1.5 Units)
Over 43.5 Philly @ St Louis I'm still leaning towards StL but i can't pull the trigger... Vick n his Weapons could have a field day on turf and I also like Bradfords chances of Scoring 20+. Despite the Eagles plethora of CBs, Bradford should still be able to hook up with his Receiving weapons enough to keep them in this one, I see Amendola and TE Kendricks having good games. I'm not completely "sold" on Phillys "dream team", but I can't bring myself to bet against them yet. (Laying 1.5 Units)

glad to see you back this year, you definitely had a hot streak last season and hoping for the same this year. BoL Liking Detroit and the Eagles/Rams over

Im definitely on Detroit as well as Tennessee. Luke McCown is 1-7 as a starter and CJ2K will out run MJD who is coming off major surgery. Arizona at -7 at home is a nice choice.
On a separate note, I am really leaning Pittsburgh over Baltimore. I believe more points are going to be scored than everyone thinks. Baltimore's secondary is suspect and Pittsburgh only added more deep threats =) Pitt -1

I would def lean towards the Over in Detroit, but it's a No Play for me. Goodluck if you do take that Over... Paramount, Best of Luck on Tennessee and Pitt, Baltimores addition of Lee Evans and Vonte Leach could be that deep threat theyve needed to stretch defenses, while Vonte Leach was Arian Foster lead blocker lastyr and could provide a huge boost for Baltimores Rushing Attack. I just cant bring myself to Bet against Bmore till i see them ball... Tennessee could be an absolute mess thisyr, i need to watch them play once or twice and assess where theyre at before i lay anything on them... But like i said, i Wish You Luck on those 2 Picks!!! And im with ya on Az n Detroit! Let's get that money Brother!!!
I'm praying I can't start off HOT again but that was something special, I'd love to say I knew how it happened or I could duplicate that sorta run but it was truly a surreal run. I just hope to start off with a Winning Week and then build from there!
Best of Luck to ALL.... except those Rat Bastard Bookies!!!!!!
